The main activities of the charity are to hold events, maintain and improve the Recreation Grounds and support other community groups.

The main activity of this charity has for many years been to provide a recreation ground, used by the public, the local primary school and local football and cricket clubs, and for village events. We also host recycling facilities.

PROVISION OF OPEN SPACE, FOOTBALL PITCH AND CHILDRENS PLAY AREA.

The charity manages and maintains the recreation ground for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish and for the provision of such ancillary facilities. The facilities include a five-a-side basketball unit, an adventure play area, a junior play area and two pay and play tennis courts. Activities held include the annual bonfire night and bi annual rural fair.

The Charity is set up to provide facilities for the local community. The Hall is used on a regular basis by local bands, Tae Kwondo, dog obedience and dog craft training. No events are now held by the Committee.

We are a volunteer funded and managed playing field providing play equipment and activities for all ages and abilities. There is a pavilion onsite. Tennis and cricket clubs run form the site. We have no guaranteed income and all maintenance activities and administration is done by volunteers. We have activities such as sports days, cream teas, BBQ's and apple pressing days.

Marchwood Men's Shed provide a space for people (not just men) to socialise, share skills and create. The shed operates from the Lloyd Recreation Ground in Marchwood. The members work on projects that benefit the wider community, including for schools, pre-schools, churches and the general public.

Maintain the village cricket pitch and pavilion and the two hard tennis courts. Run a mini tennis group for children aged four to fourteen.
