Sports support group for Cynwyd Football Club, Bowling Club, Tennis Club

To provide a sports field in the village of Egton including pavilion, cricket pitch and practice nets for senior and junior cricket teams. A tennis/netball court is provided and also a children's play area. A playing field is maintained for any other sporting activities required.

The object of the Charity is to establish and run a Village Hall and playing field for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Meare.

We manage the playing field and children's play area. We raise money and involve village residents in fund raising and social events. Local businesses support our work financially and we have an effective working relationship with them and our Parish Council. Castleton Primary School now use a dedicated woodland area for environmental studies. The field is open to the general public.

Supporting keeping the Village Hall open by way of special events on the playing fields, sporting events, use of the village hall by local church, fundraising events, lettings for activities, parties etc.

To promote Interest and Leisure activities for the benefit of the residents of Stoney Middleton with the aim of raising funds for a new community centre and improving the facilities on the playing field for inhabitants of all ages and abilities.

As a Charity we look after the Playing Fields for the village and on behalf of the Parish Council. Cricket, Football and any activity that villages wish to take part in.The management committee consists of 9 members and is organised and maintained by the Parish Council on behalf of the residents of the parish

Each year our income is distributed in the following way: 2/8th to Watlington Parochial Church Council, 3/8th to Watlington Educational Foundation; 3/8th to Watlington Recreation Grounds Charity.

Also providing open space for summer camps and activitie.
