Management of Village Hall for the benefit of local residents.

Operation of a Village Hall for the benefit of the residents of Swainby Village, Whorlton Parish and the surrounding communities.

The principal activity of the trust is the provision and maintenance of Blakeney Village Hall. This is achieved by the hiring out of the hall and the running of a bar as an adjacent to certain hirings.

We are a small committee of volunteers formed to manage the day to day running and upkeep of the village hall. The village hall is provided for the use of the local community and surrounding area for social events, amateur sporting and recreational activities, light business use and general community events.

We provide a village hall and recreational facilities at competitive hire rates for the residents of the Parish of St Nicholas at Wade and Sarre, and the surrounding area. We provide amenities for the community, recreational, social, cultural, and other events by third parties. The hall is also used as an electoral polling station and for community emergency planning.

Village Hall

Provision of village hall for parish events, meetings, social activities together with recreation ground for sporting activities. The geographical area covered is the parish of Tidenham although the use of the facilities is open to all for booking events.

The management and maintenance of the Llangynwyd Village Hall to provide a community hub with a coffee shop & lending library. To provide facilities for local people and groups to hire the hall eg Womens Institute, Adult Ed., Yoga, Singing, Sewing class, Inner Wheel, Tai Chi, Martial Arts, Pilates, parties & activities such as Parent and Toddler group, Bingo,Table Tennis, Film & Supper Clubs

Social events, community gatherings, private & public meetings, exercise classes, film clubs, music and specialist groups for the benefit of the local, and wider, community.

Provides and maintains a meeting place for anyone who wishes to hire the hall

Activities range from the very young to the elderly: Bridge Club, WI, Keep Fit, Dementia Care Day Centre with lunches on two days a week, Parish Council Meetings, Table tennis club, Social evenings, Hall and Committee Room available for Hire for Parties, meetings and functions.
