A new village hall is under construction and will commission in September 2022. It will provide for a range of community and individual activities based on the wishes of villagers as documented in the 2014 village survey.

The venue brings people together improving their health and well being. An adjoining Thrift Shop, run by volunteers, sells donated goods. The proceeds help the trustees continue to improve the premises and keep hire charges affordable.

It is also the meeting point for High Lane Residents' Association, High Lane Village Forum & High Lane Allotments.
