The Charity has retained the premises now known as Newchurch Parish Hall, and uses them for education and instruction. It also lets the premises to various people and organisations, making charges to defray the cost.

The object of the Charity shall be the provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants o the Parish of Horton without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, included use for meetings, lectures and classes, and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

There are weekly craft groups of card making and patchwork/quilting.Throughout the year there are social events for both children and adults eg halloween party, new years eve.The hall is also available for hire by private groups and is used by the parish council, whist groups , church groups etc.
