The aim of the Friends is to actively promote the Museum in the Community.We provide Specialist Knowledge where needed and Grants for improving Displays and their upkeep.We purchase small Artefacts for the Collections, and appropriate items to improve amenities in the Museum and historical locality.We organise annually Historical Tours, Walks, Events, Exhibitions and Talks for the Public.
