To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the River Marden and its tributaries, from its source to its confluence with the River Avon, together with the surrounding habitats, and wildlife of its catchment basin, and to educate the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment and history of the valley.
