To provide psycho-social and counselling, advice, information and support to help people affected by substance misuse to make positive change. The charity operates at tier 2 and 3 of the treatment system as defined by models of care.

Carers FIRST is a charity supporting people who look after a relative or friend who due to ill health, physical or mental illness, disability, frailty, or addiction cannot manage without their support. We provide information, advice, guidance, emotional support, training and activities, giving carers an opportunity to have a break from their caring role and help them to get the support they need.

The objectives are 1) provision of relief to families in crisis from poverty, conflict, hardship, homelessness, ill health or addiction 2) relief of needs of overwhelmed and resource limited parents and their children through the provision of safe, temporary family stays for their children and 3) protection of the physical and mental health of the children. Support provided through volunteers.

The purpose of the charity is to provide realistic and timely advice, information and other assistance to vulnerable, marginalised and at risk people across the region of Surrey and the south of England

ST GEORGE'S CRYPT PROVIDES PRACTICAL CARE AND SUPPORT FOR HOMELESS, DESTITUTE AND DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE. IT OPERATES IN THE LEEDS AREA. THE CRYPT RUNS ONE HOSTEL FOR PEOPLE WITH A BACKGROUND OF ADDICTION; IT ALSO PROMOTES A PROGRAMME OF TRAINING AND ENGAGEMENT AND ACTIVELY PROMOTES RESETTLEMENT. THE CRYPT IS A FAITH-BASED CHARITY.THE CHARITY ALSO RUNS THREE SHOPS .

With year's of experience we know that homelessness and addiction often go hand in hand. We're one of the few places in the country to operate an alchohol and substance tolerant policy, so people who stay at Cosgarne are able to address their issues in a realistic environment whilst we help them look for more permanent accomodation or work with other agencies in addressing their addiction issues.

The charity operating as Stonepillow is principally engaged in the relief of homelessness and social exclusion. Services include hostels, day centres, a furniture recycling social enterprise project, supported accommodation and a recovery project for those dependent on drugs, alcohol and suffer from mental health.

Provision of information, harm reduction and treatment services for problem drug and alcohol users to enable individuals to achieve independence from drugs and alcohol. Over 4,000 individual adults and young people benefit from the charity's activities in any year.

Bridge's work includes; providing drug treatment services and recovery focused support to individuals and families; working with people with some of the most complex needs and issues in Bradford; and providing employment, education and training services for people with significant barriers to employment.

Shap provides a range of supported housing services across Merseyside. These services range from the provision of emergency accommodation for young homeless people to specialist support for young parents. We work in communities to support people who have been homeless or who are vulnerable because of mental health issues, drug or alcohol use or other factors.

Open Road exists in order to reduce the harmful impact of drugs and alcohol on users, their families, partners and society. We also support young people and vulnerable adults in police custody, to ensure that their welfare is respected. Provision of residential rehabilitation services to women affected by substance misuse, with children in their care.

ARA provides services to help people who have drug,alcohol and gambling addiction problems. ARA also provides services to help people with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.

The Charity was formed to promote and provide a 12 Step and non 12 step Abstinence Programme for those who have suffered from addiction problems relating to alcohol and/or drug misuse. The Charity provides various stages of treatment, ie Reduction & Motivation Programme (RAMP) , Day Care, residential, reintegration programmes, Family Programmes, back to work & Post Treatment Recovery Support

Provision of advice and/or grants to persons who are either in employment or have been employed in the Hotel & Catering Industry. Our life support programme covers crisis help, essential needs assistance,education on drug and alcohol abuse (through a corporate seminar programme),family members communication and assistance and an employee assistance programme.

The trust has kept to its principle aim of working with homeless and disadvantaged persons especially those with alcohol and drug related problems. It offers a residential programme of support at three levels - post-detox accommodation/support, rehabilitation and move-on houses. It emphasises a communal style of living in all its houses. Project 6 is a voluntary sector drug & alcohol provider in Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven, Sheffield and Doncaster. We provide advice & support to substance users, their families and carers. We deliver open access harm reduction services, structured treatment and recovery services in the community, primary and secondary care settings. The 700 Club is a frontline homelessness and housing charity seeking to move people from dependence to independence. It offers supported Hostel Accommodation for individuals and couples in three hostels, housing related Floating Support for those (over 16) with substance misuse issues, assists people into private sector housing and is a Registered Provider of social housing.
