To raise money to purchase equipment for the Hospital

Fundraising enables us to supply essential medical equipment. We also offer services & organise activities for patients & provide a link with the local community.On the closure of the Bolingbroke patient services & the Day Hospital moved into St. John's Therapy Centre from where we now operate. To avoid confusioin for our patients we are known as The Bolingbroke & St. John's Friends.

Fete's, Trips, Raffles, entertainment

Fundraising to provide extra comforts for our hospital patients.

Funded by events organised by dedicated members of the commitee to provide facilities for patients being cared for at the community hospital and associated out patient services on the Bletchley site.

To raise and provide funds for the purpose of either supplementing in such a manner as the Friends think fit the resources of the hospital services or putting such funds or part thereof at the disposal of the Hospital Management Committee of the Hospitals.

To respond, wholly or partly, to requests for medical equipment forwards or departments. To maintain an information desk, conveying or directing out patients to their consultants location.

Active support for the daily life of Moorfields Eye Hospital from a network of volunteers. Financial support for the work of the Hospital, particularly the comfort and welfare of patients. Also funding for necessary equipment and miscellaneous items, responding to needs as and when highlighted.

To provide medical equipment and other items for the benefit of the patients of Elmham and Swanton Morley Surgeries.

The object of the association shall be to promote the health, safety and well-being of people in the community, whether at home, in the Community Hospital or ion Stone House care Home.

Provide service to Dulwich Hospital and local charities

Provision of comforts for St Michaels Hospital, Hayle, not provided by the NHS.

Raise funds from donations, bequests, interest, operation of buffet service and other activities e.g. raffles, tombolas etc.Funds are used for the welfare of patients at the West Cumberland Hospital by providing equipment, amenities and christmas gifts.

FUNDRAISING AND ADMINISTRATION OF BEQUESTS, SUPPORTING REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT AND PATIENT'S COMFORTS, SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF VOLUNTEERING AT GRANTHAM HOSPITAL THROUGH RADIO WITHAM, OUR ON-SITE RADIO STATION, OUR CAR DRIVER SCHEME, OUR CHARITY SHOP AND OTHER VOLUNTARY ROLES.

This charity is set up to provide amenities and equipment for the benefit of patients, staff and relatives of patients where such amenities and equipment are not provided for under NHS budgets.

For relief of sickness of patients attending eye surgery by provision of equipment and other amenities not normally provided by the doctors, and generally to support the charitable work of the said surgery.

Fundraising to provide medical and other equipment needed by health professionals and other healthcare providers.

Supplying items of equipment for residents of the hospital who require more specialist items/ to improve their stay e.g. Special Beds, Chairs, Televisions, Electric fans, Telephones, Christmas presents. Gardening services (planting, maintenance etc)Providing a Trolley shop service to the residents three times a week.Raising funds by public activities (Ploughman's Lunches, Carnival stall)

We run a teabar in Outpatients Dept at Shotley Bridge Hospital. Outside of this we run fundraising events ie coffee mornings, seasonal fayre's and a flag day. All monies raised go back into the community via medical equipment. Patient comforts on wards & in Outpatient Dept.

The advancement of health and the saving of life and the preservation of health among people residing locally, without discrimination. To provide physical aids, equipment, facilities and services ancillary to those provided by the doctors, to persons suffering from any physical illness. To interact with other groups, clubs & charities in the area working to similar aims.
