Health Charities That specialise in Healthcare provider support

The main objective of the Charity is to promote the relief of suffering and treatment of illness in the Medway and Swale areas. The Charity makes an annual grant to Medway Community Healthcare to not only ensure that the current services of The Wisdom Hospice are maintained but, where possible, to continually improve upon those services.

To raise funds and invite and receive contributions by way of subscriptions, donations or otherwise to supplement as the League thinks fit the resources of the hospital service in consultation with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust; to support the hospital by means of voluntary service; to provide facilities for patients and relatives.

The Objects of the Friends shall be to provide relief and assistance for patients and staff at the Eastbourne Hospitals of the East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust and the community NHS services provided centrally by other NHS and primary care trusts to the extent that the same was provided formerly by Eastbourne and County Healthcare NHS Trust.

Raising money for the Royal Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital in order to purchase much needed equipment not provided by the NHS Trust.

We raise funds, run a hospital shop and radio station (Hospital Radio Barnet) in support of Barnet Hospital, purchasing requested equipment and comforts items for patients and staff.

To raise funds for the hospital through its branch network.To further research,study,advances in treatment and improvement in care at the hospital.To help patients and former patients of the hospital.Provide support from its central office and provide a well run shop and coffee shop through a combination of paid and volunteer staff.

To purchase medical equipment and provide benefits to patients in Yeovil Hospital

The object of the League is to relieve patients of the Worthing Hospitals and to support the work of the said Hospitals by the provision of medical equipment and facilities for the benefit of patients, staff and visitors. The League runs a shop, a trolley shop and cafe at Worthing Hospital as part of its primary charitable activites.

The charity runs a shop in the Princess Royal Hospital Haywards Heath and raises funds with other activities such as Golf days /street collections

To supplement the services provided by the Royal Marsden Hospital by contributing to the provision of facilities, refurbishments and equipment that may benefit the health, welfare or comfort of its patients, former patients, their families or staff.

To promote charity's status for the benefit of patients, relatives and friends of patients, and employees of the hospital. The Council provides refreshment services for the benefit of such persons.

The charity members work within Airedale General Hospital running a shop and other activities to assist patients and visitors.

Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals work to provide innovative new equipment as well as patient comforts in hospitals and community healthcare facilities across the City.

To raise money to provide amenities and services for patients and staff at Torbay Hospital

The League was established to raise funds for, and provide physical anenities for the benefit of patients at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, and to support the charitable work of the Hospital.

The Friends provide services within the hospital to enhance the patients' stay. It also buys equipment for Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. It does this through various fundraising activities throughout the year.

Fundraising for hospital funding

The Friends provide funds to supplement or enhance the resources of both hospitals for the benefit of patients and staff. This is achieved by operating a profitable, efficient Hospital Shop and Ward Trolley Service Additional funds are raised from legacies, by fund raisung activities and by a group of members who pay for life membership of ?50 or an Annual Subscription of ?10.

To raise funds for the benefit of the patients and medical staff of the hospital.

Supplementing the service provided by NHS local care providers for the health, welfare and comfort of all patients. Purchasing extra comforts, amenities and facilities, buildings and equipment which may be required for the treatment of such patients or for the efficient running of the Hospital which cannot be obtained from state funds. Running the outpatient tea bars.

Fundraising and the sale of food and drink from two outlets in the hospital.

To provide support to patients and staff at the hospital and to raise funds for equipment, resources and staff training which are not available through NHS funding.

Promote and provide financial assistance for the Herzog Hospital in Jerusalem

A Voluntary organisation which raises funds to provide additional services, amenities and equipment for the benefit and comfort of patients and staff. Services have been extended to support and care for patients in the community.

Fund raising activities. Grants of money to The Yeatman Hospital, Sherborne, to improve hospital facilities and provide benefits to patients: redecoration, supplementary equipment and furniture, garden provision and maintenance, newspapers for patients, flowers, drinks machines, television services, supplementary therapies.
