Services are free of charge, 24/7, 365 days a year

Providing accommodation, with professional nursing and end of life care, for elderly and frail individuals in Knowsley and surrounding areas. Maintaining dignity, privacy, respect and independence within an environment as near as possible to normal home life. The Charity also provides 11 rehabilitation beds that enable patients to meet their goals and achieve outcomes that is person centred.

THE PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY AND OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY DURING THE YEAR ARE TO PROVIDE THE RELIEF OF SUFFERING BY PROVIDING FOR THE CARE, ACCOMMODATION,TRAINING, EDUCATION, FUTURE LIVING, EMPLOYMENT, OCCUPATION AND SUSTENANCE OF PHYSICALLY OR MENTALLY ILL PERSONS, IN ORDER TO FOSTER AND ENCOURAGE A SENSE OF INDEPENDENCE.

To provide convalescent, nursing and respite care for the sick and aged in the Sheffield area, through the provision of fully-serviced nursing accommodation for residential patients, and through one self-contained residential flat providing sheltered accommodation for the elderly, being fully registered with all required regulatory bodies.

Croft Care Trust provides care for adults over the age of 18 years with physical and learning difficulties within our Nursing Home and Residential Village

Provision of nursing and residential care to the people of the local area

The principal activity is the running of a convalescent home and nursing home. There is also provision of pastoral and spiritual support.

To support the religious and other charitable works carried out by the order and by the Roman Catholic Church and others, through the provision of nursing and residential care and community care, missionary work overseas and the support of the Congregation itself.

The provision of residential and nursing care to the residents of Charlotte Straker House along with the maintenance of accommodation in the form of bungalows/flats which provide independent living to the occupants.

The main activity is the provision of approximately 1096beds for Residential, Dementia, and Nursing care in 17 Homes throughout England and Wales. In addition the Charity runs approximately 145 sheltered units for those who seek independence and can still look after themselves. Many of these tenants later become residents in the Homes.

CANDLELIGHTERS SUPPORTS THE WORK OF THE REGIONAL PAEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY & HAEMATOLOGY UNIT IN LEEDS. FUNDING IS PROVIDED FOR HARDSHIP GRANTS, SUPPORT GROUPS, HOLIDAYS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR FAMILIES WHOSE CHILDREN ARE UNDERGOING TREATMENT FOR CANCER OR LEUKAEMIA AT THE UNIT; MEDICAL AND OTHER EQUIPMENT; MEDICAL; NURSING AND SOCIAL SUPPORT STAFF AND RESEARCH INTO CHILDHOOD CANCER AND LEUKAEMIA

Tynedale Hospice at Home provides community based hospice care. Care and support is also extended to the patient's families.We cover the Tynedale, Scots Gap and Ponteland area.Services include nursing, practical and emotional support and are free of charge.

The provision of care home accommodation for older people in Wirral. We run a care home (non nursing) and annexe with 24 hour care with thirty three rooms in West Kirby. We are affiliated to the Abbeyfield Society nationally.

Members of the Community continued to work in hospitals and nursing homes providing medical and nursing support. In the local parish communities the sisters undertake pastoral work, including adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, visiting and administering the Eucharist to the lonely, sick, aged, bereaved and other members of the community. They are also involved in other aspects of parish life.

Operation of a nursing home
