Improving the lives of visually impaired people in Northamptonshire. Activities include provision of Single Persons Accommodation, Talking Newspaper Service, Home Visiting Service, Mobile Sight Centre, Computer Training, Aids & Adaptations.

This grant-making foundation supports a wide range of activities in the following categories: education, general welfare (particularly the elderly, the blind and the disabled) and family and social welfare. Grants are made to UK registered charities and to organisations with charitable status. Special support is given to the County of Lancashire, as defined before local government reorganisation.

4Sight provides about 5000 vision impaired people with information, guidance & on-going support to promote independence & prevent social isolation following sight loss. We help people to access advice, equipment, skills & services needed to improve health & wellbeing, build confidence & participate actively in their community and family life.4Sight also campaigns to remove barriers to inclusion

Visionary is a federation of one hundred local societies for blind and partially sighted people in the UK. It aspires to provide support for and raise awareness of the services provided by its members. It has a development fund for small societies and advises national research and campaign groups. A conference for members is held annually and members receive a bi-monthly newsletter.

Wales Council for Deaf People offers a range of services tailored to support individuals who are deaf, deafened, deafblind, or hard of hearing. These includes interpreting, community support, sign language training, and deaf/deafblind awareness programs. Our services are available throughout Wales.

We publish unique Touch to See books which enable blind and partially sighted people, young and old, to explore and enjoy the world of pictures. Our purpose is to relieve the social and educational isolation that they suffer throughout their lives. These unique books are available throughout Britain and Ireland to all visually impaired people completely free from our postal library service.

The aim of York Blind & Partially Sighted Society (MySight York) is to advocate and provide services to enable people who are blind or partially sighted achieve independence and live well with sight loss. We provide an Equipment and Information Centre, a Befriending Service, an Eye Clinic service, activities, outreach to anyone struggling with sight loss in the York area.

NRCPD's objectives are to promote the needs of and protect deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and deaf blind people, by promoting the quality, conduct and professionalism of all communication professionals; and The advancement of education, for the benefit of the public in relation to the issues facing deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, and deaf blind people.

The Society works to improve the overall quality of life for people with a visual impairment in North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, East and West Lindsey and Lincoln City. The Charitys objective and its principal activity are to support people with a visual impairment in the County of Northumberland to enable increased independence and to help them fulfil their potential.

We provide a Training Service for blind and sight impaired teenagers to support them towards employment. We offer a comprehensive Employment Service helping school leavers, undergraduates and graduates into employment throughout the United Kingdom. Provide donations to organisations in India and Uganda in order to assist them in conducting surgeries on blind people, especially children so that they could restore them full or partial vision.

We are a charity for blind and visually impaired adults in North Tyneside. We have a Day centre where people can socialise in a safe, friendly environment. Activities are held for both physical and mental stimulation. We also have 12 residential flats for independent living. We own a property to further our mission of reaching more blind and visually impaired adults this is called Iris.
