Our mission is to safeguard the traditions and the spirit of the islands and to enhance public understanding of Scillonian traditions and Scillys place in history. The Isles of Scilly Museum Association seeks to preserve for the public benefit matters relating to the islands, history, archaeology and natural science.

The Society for the Promotion of Hellenic Studies was founded in 1879 to advance the study of Greek language, literature, history, art and archaeology in the Ancient, Byzantine and Modern periods. The Society maintains a world class research library and publishes internationally acclaimed journals in the field.

The charity operates in the village of Fairbourne Gwynedd where, through its operating company, Fairbourne Railway Steam Limited, it runs a narrow gauge preserved steam railway, which includes an historical museum. The charity also manages a large recreational area, the majority of which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. There is free access to all public areas.

THE SUTTON HOO SHIP'S COMPANY WILL RECONSTRUCT THE SHIP BURIED UNDER MOUND 1 AT SUTTON HOO AROUND 625 . THE SHIP WILL BE BUILT ON THE SURVIVING INFORMATION AND THE BEST ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESEARCH OF THE DAY. THE SHIP WILL BE TRIALLED ON THE WATER TO TEST HYPOTHESES ABOUT ITS USE. The Notley Green Community Association (NGCA) was formed in 1995 to manage the Great Notley Community Centre on behalf of Braintree District Counci (BDC) for the benefits of the local residents in Great Notley and, for historical reasons, Black Notley (the Benefit Area).

The Appledore Book Festival raises the profile of Appledore, increases enjoyment of reading in the community for all ages and abilities through exciting events, raises money for local charitable purposes and encourages support for libraries.The Festival advances the education of the public in the subject of literature, reading and the local history of Appledore and its surrounding area.

The CIO achieves its objectives by renting The Cedars, a Grade II listed Regency town house in Chertsey, to Runnymede Borough Council under a long-term agreement. The Council runs a local history museum from The Cedars known as Chertsey Museum. Under the agreement the Council curates, stores and displays items from the collection. The CIO pays the Council a contribution towards its costs.

Hogarth's House is the former country home of the 18th century English artist William Hogarth in Chiswick. The House is a museum open to visitors from the public.

For awareness of National Aviation History. Maintain & display historic aircraft & engines, classic aircraft & associated memorabilia & provide practical workshop on the development and progress of aviation.

Preservation of the aviation history of Norfolk.

Preservation of Avro Vulcan aircraft as part of Britain's aviation heritage, in particular Avro Vulcan B2 XL426 at London Southend Airport, Essex, and to educate the general public in matters relating to the Vulcan's role in Britain's military history.

Czech School Without Borders, London is a supplementary school that provides education for more than 190 children. Our classes are open to all children interested in learning the Czech language, history and culture, no matter what their educational or linguistic abilities. Our main educational activities are carried out every Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday during the school term.

The charity does not actively fund raise. The trustees identify the projects and organisations they wish to support including supporting exhibitions, restoration of paintings and sculpture, academic research, art historical publications and architectural conservation.
