We promote Bognor Regis local history by offering monthly meetings with talks on various subjects. We also offer slide shows and talks to local schools and adult groups, plus attend seasonal events with our own stall. Finally, the society operates a local history museum in the town, run entirely by the volunteer membership.

Bentwaters Aviation Society was formed primarily to operate the Bentwaters Cold War Museum. The purpose of the Bentwaters Cold War Museum is to collect, preserve, display and provide for scholarship, material relating to the history of RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge and aviation generally where a link with Bentwaters and Woodbridge is established, for the public benefit in perpetuity.

The objects of the charity is to preserve for the Community and the nation; local history, architectural and cultural heritage that may exist in and around North Holderness in the form of buildings and artefacts of particular historical, architectural and cultural interests. The museum also puts on events for the local community, such as paranormal nights and 1940's street party days.

The Society has since 1937 recorded for public benefit the history of all types of self propelled road steam engines - traction engines,road rollers, wagons and portable engines - made, used or preserved in the UK. St Ives Museum is an independent, volunteer-run museum. We aim to enable both the local community and visitors to St Ives to discover more about the town's varied history and heritage, from fishing and mining to art, industry and more.
