Promote floriculture and horticulture with one-day garden safari and one-day Chelsea (Flower Show) Fringe event (Nuts in May). Fundraising with plant sales and participation in Apple Fair.

Provision and maintenance of village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Vowchurch & Turnastone for meetings, lecturesclasses and other form of recreational purposes.

The object of the League shall be to benefit patients and former patients of the Beccles Hospital and other patients in the community, who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped and infirm or in need of financial assistance and, generally, to support the charitable work of said Hospital.

The Friends of Edenbridge Memorial Health Centre supports the new health centre, opened in November 2023, upon the closure of the Edenbridge Memorial Hospital. It provides funds and equipment to pay for those items/services for which the NHS is unable to pay. Its main objective is to support local NHS services and to fundraise in the community so as to fund essential support.

Provision of recreational facilities

The Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council, acting as the Barr Beacon Trust, maintains a piece of land known as "Barr Beacon" for the purposes of public open space and recreation primarily for the benefit of the local community. The Council, as Trustee, is also responsible for maintaining and keeping in repair, the War Memorial erected on the site.

Management of the Cleeve Prior Memorial Village Hall for the benefit of the villagers and other user groups.

Maintenance of a community building

Upkeep and maintenance of war memorial, playing fields and childrens play equipment.

Supply of a village hall for the use and benefit of Pontargothi, Llanegwad and the surrounding area

During the year the Fund made Grants and Bursaries to assist in the education of 11 pupils at Aldenham School. None of the pupils supported by the Fund were children of Old Aldenhamians. 11 pupils were supported by way of Bursaries and none by Grant. The total amount of financial assistance provided by way of Grants and Bursaries was -ú10,500.

Provision of a meeting place

Village hall operated for the benefit of the village and surrounding area. Management committee comprising elected officers and members from each organisation using the hall facilities running costs subsidised by parish council grant.
