World War Two Remembrance Museum

To advance the education of the public with regard to a history of Suffolk and the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway in particular by maintenance of a museum and by restoring and operating a demonstration railway, operations, equipment and engineering crafts.

The De Morgan Foundation holds an extensive collection of arts and crafts ceramics by the Victorian ceramicist William De Morgan and oil paintings and drawings by the artist Evelyn De Morgan. The charity's primary objective is the "provision and maintenance of the collection" to a public audience, which the Foundation achieves at its museum, though exhibitions, and a public programme.

Bethesda Foundation fosters personal development and income generation through the arts. It re-introduces local indigenous people to their (now extinct) /Xam heritage and contributes to South african history by exploring San mythology in contemporary quilts and prints which are sold to museums and corporations. The Bethesda Arts Centre's work includes poverty relief, social and health issues.

The Harrison Zoological Museum Trust is a registered scientific institution (CITES No. GB010), which promotes biodiversity conservation and environmental protection, primarily in the Palaeotropics and subtropics, through research, capacity building and working with local communities.

The aim of the Trust is to raise funds for the development and continued support of the Museum of Oxford.

Restore & preserve the Steam Tug 'Brent' of 1945, as an example of London's dockland heritage & to sail her in U.K & European waters. Brent is based for public view on the waterfront at Maldon Essex. As a museum ship she is open to the public 10 -16 times a year. Currently a static exhibit, the trustees and a group of volunteers are restoring her to enable her to steam again.

Athelstan Museum Malmesbury operates within Malmesbury Town Hall. It also owns and manages the Julia and Hans Rausing Building, a restored former Moravian Church at 12B Oxford Street in Malmesbury as a cultural and educational centre.

It is a registered museum.

The Ipswich Transport Museum exists to preserve the transport and engineering history of the Ipswich area. It does this through the operation of a Museum in Cobham Road Ipswich, through its website and the organisation of external events such as exhibitions, rallies, lectues and public acces to its archives.

The Charity manages the Helena Thompson Museum in Workington on behalf of Allerdale borough Council. Through the organising, by WHG Ltd, of Outreach, educational, social, historical and cultural activities, it brings the heritage of Workington and district to as wide an audience as possible

We promote modern and contemporary art through our gallery and through exhibitions in particular but not exclusively in Gateshead, Newcastle and the surrounding region; and advance the education and understanding of the public in modern and contemporary art.

THE FOUNDATION IS COMMITTED TO A SMALL NUMBER OF MAJOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN ISRAEL AND THE UK. THE FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO SUPPORT THE PORTER SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES AT TEL AVIV UNIVERSITY. IN THE UK, THE FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO SUPPORT ACCESS TO THE ARTS BY FUNDING PORTER GALLERIES, AND THE FOUNDATION HAS A CONTINUING COMMITMENT TO THE VICTORIA & ALBERT MUSEUM.

The Cromwell Museum Trust exists to: operate the Museum for the benefit of the Nation; advance the education of the public by supporting and raising the profile of the study, research and investigation of the life of Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector; and to preserve and develop the Collections for the investigation of the history of the 17th century and of Cromwell's influecne and legacy.

To increase the understanding and enjoyment of painting and sculpture,2. to help create, in Norwich, an arts programme of national significance,3. fundraising to ensure financial security for collection exhibitions at Norwich Castle Galleries, and4. to support students through its education project including art workshops targeted at primary school children from deprived areas of Norwich.

To provide a museum for the general benefit of the inhabitants of Southend-on-Sea

The running of premises for the storage and restoration of items, and a museum of restored items which tell the story of local road passenger transport on the South Coast.The organisation and operation of free bus services and other special events to demonstarte the vehicles and practices used in the past to operate local road passenger transport.

The Charities activities have yet to be confirmed by the Trusteed and implemented. The areas that these activities will operate in in not specific but will be primarily in the regiment's recruiting area. This does not exclude any other area of the UK.

Operation and maintenance of the Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum. The present Mill was built in 1793 and is Grade I listed. The Mill is open to the public and produces and sells its own flour. Guided tours and special events for schools take place.

The objectives of the RI are for the advancement of the aesthetic education of the public by the promotion of the fine arts and in particular the art of painting in watercolours. (These objectives are mainly realised through an annual exhibition. This year was the 209th and held at the Mall Galleries, London).
