Salisbury museum collects, preserves and presents collections that illustrate Salisbury and South Wiltshires past (including archaeology of national status). It encourages learning, research, publication and enjoyment of those collections through services which include display, educaiton and events.

The Federation provides exhibition facilities and organises open art exhibitions for public viewing in the Mall Galleries.The open exhibitions provide opportunities for developing artists to exhibit alongside more established artists. Our education programme incorporates collaboration with people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

We are a membership organisation for those interested in the history and archaeology of Sussex. We open six historic properties to the visiting public. Each property has its own museum and provides education services for children. Encouragement of research into railway equipment and safety, preservation of heritage railway items including rolling stock, maintenance and support of museums for the preservation of railway equipment, provision of recreational facilities connected with railways and assistance for persons in need connected with railway personnel, especially charitable purposes connected with the Bluebell Railway.

Russell-Cotes provides a museum and art gallery based in a listed building overlooking Poole Bay.The Museum is part of the Government's initiative to improve access to the arts.

THE YORKSHIRE AIR MUSEUM & ALLIED AIR FORCES MEMORIAL WAS FORMED IN 1985 ON THE FORMER W.W.2 BOMBER COMMAND STATION, R.A.F ELVINGTON, WITH THE MAIN FOCUS OF PROMOTING THE HISTORY OF AVIATION AND TO PROVIDE A LASTING MEMORIAL TO ALL ALLIED AIR FORCES. THE MUSEUM IS HOME TO OVER 47 COMPLETE AIR FRAMES ON A 20 ACRE PARKLAND SITE WITH OVER 15 PERMANENT EXHIBITIONS.

Museum which rescues historic buildings under threat in Chilterns Area and re-erects them within a 45 acre traditional landscape with interpretation for visitors. The buildings range from domestic, agricultural to rural industrial dating from 15c to post WW2. Activities include historical re-enactments, rural craft demos, traditional farming practices with livestock. Lifelong learning is provided.
