Their purpose is to provide low-cost accommodation for elderly persons of low income, preferably already living in the Haywards Heath area. The Trust, which is a charitable trust, does not make grants to other charities.

The Charity provides affordable homes for elderly people

The charity maintains six almshouses in Englefield Green, Egham, Surrey. The houses are made available to elderly married couples, or single persons if no qualifying couple can be found, who meet criteria laid down in the Scheme of the Charity Commissioners made in 1994. Maintenance fees are charged at a level to cover long-term average costs of keeping the houses in good condition.
