The Sevenoaks Almshouse Charity offers accomodation to people who meet the guidelines for selection of residents. The area of benefit is the area administered by Sevenoaks District Council

The Charities comprise a housing association that provides affordable housing to elderly people who also have a financial need. The housing association is registered with the Tenants Service Authority and is a registered social landlord. There are 42 units available to let and all the units are based in Poole, Dorset.

Provision of social housing by way of almshouses

The charities principal activity is the provision and maintenance of almshouse accomodation to persons of pensionable age in the borough of King's Lynn. In addition the trustees administer some small charities, providing, charitable and welfare support.

The charity provides and maintains almshouses and a chapel, within a conservation area, in the town of Sandwich. The almshouses are allocated to needy and predominantly elderly people residing in Sandwich or the adjoining parishes of Worth, Eastry, Woodnesborough and Ash. The chapel is used as a place of worship for residents and the local community.

A select development of 32 modern one-bed homes for eligible elderly people operating on an incorporated basis, having been founded in 1869. The trust operates an equal opportunities policy. A resident warden oversees the welfare of residents and provides services that help residents enjoy their freedom and independence within a comfortable and secure environment and offering social activity.

The Charity provides almshouses for the accommodation of elderly persons having a "housing need" and a strong association with the Borough of Reigate and Banstead.

The Charity provides almshouses for people who are over 60 years old, are of good character and in financial hardship. At the time of appication, the potential resident must reside within the Ancient Parishes of Pevensey and Westham. The Charity owns 6 almshouses in Westham and 2 in Pevensey Bay. When vacancies occur, these are advertised widely in the area of benefit.

THE CHARITY OPERATES FOR THE BENEFIT OF RESIDENTS OF THE VILLAGE OF FELTWELL ONLY IN PROVIDING HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY IN 4 ALMSHOUSES, GIVING A GRANT AT CHRISTMAS, TO THE ELDERLY FOR HEATING AND SUPPORTING THE SCHOOL AND GIVING GRANTS TO PUPILS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT

The provision of housing accommodation for persons in financial hardship with preference given firstly to those residing in the parishes of Edgware and Little Stanmore and secondly to those who are previous residents of these parishes.

The Charity operates 18 Almshouses for the poor and needy in the town of Witney, Oxfordshire. The Charity also provides grants for those in need within the area of West Oxfordshire.

The relief of need, hardship or distress for persons and groups particularly in the Parish of Clifford Chambers and Milcote by providing grants to, and providing or paying for items, services or facilities to persons, either generally or individually, in such need. Provide sheltered accommodation for poor persons of not less than sixty years of age who (except in special cases to be approved by the Commissioners) are inhabitants of the City of Plymouth.

The objects of the charity are to provide almshouses for persons in need of assistance who are over fifty years of age and can live independently and look after themselves. Applicants must have been living in the City of Worcester and areas of Herefordshire for the two years immediately proceding their application.
