The provision and maintenance of Almshouses and associated services and amenities for persons over 60 years of age who are in need of accommodation through old age, chronic sickness, disability or necessitous circumstances.Accommodation is provided to people over 60 years of age, on the basis of housing need, who have connections with Maldon, in Essex, and are able to live independently.

Providing accommodation via twelve properties in Wootton Fitzpaine to cater for the special needs of persons needing care and attention through age, infirmity, sickness, disability or poverty and either having been born in the parish of Wootton Fitzpaine or having resided in the parish or the immediate vicinity for not less than five years.

TO RELIEVE LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER PERSONS IN CONDITIONS OF NEED OR HARDSHIP BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION, INFORMATION, ADVOCACY, ADVICE, AND OTHER FORMS OF ASSISTANCE FOR SUCH PERSONS WHO HAVE A NEED THEREOF AND BY SUPPORTING THOSE ACTIVITIES OF STONEWALL HOUSING ASSOCIATION LIMITED WHICH ARE DIRECTED TO CHARITABLE PURPOSES

Winthorpe Community Partnership is a resident led collaboration between residents and service providers from NHS, Council, Police, Housing Association an others with the aims of providing the community with more choice, more opportunities and increase local knowledge and skills to make our community a happier healthy inclusive place to live.Along side all of this we run clubs and activities.

Providing help to the tenants of Octavia Housing and Care

We are a Foodbank and hold the Trussell Trust franchise for Bridgwater. We issue our Red Vouchers to 39 agencies in and around Bridgwater the CAB, Housing Associations, Social Services, Primary Schools, Salvation Army etc etc.If the holders see a family in need they offer the person in crisis one of our Red Vouchers, they then bring the voucher to us and we give food in exchange.

Music events, festivals, theatre, community and schools workshops, art exhibitions, poetry, writing group, publishing, audio production, graphic design, photography, film making and project management. We have worked closely with many: schools, local authorities, housing associations, to showcase high quality World Music and Arts. GFMA provide free workshops in the community.

The charity will provide housing and associated amenities to those in need in the Parish of Deddington, continuing the work of the charitable community benefit society. Beneficiaries of the charity are those who are in need due to age and / or physical disability and/or those who may be suffering financial hardship.

We assess the level of help needed. We rely on church members donations of furniture. We facilitate groups from church to do gardening and decorating projects for people in need. We cover the area Ashtead, Leatherhead, Fetcham and Epsom. All of the clients that Besom helps are referred by professional care agencies, social workers, health visitors, housing associations and youth workers.
