The purpose of the Trust is to accept donations on behalf of Mount Carmel Hostel for Recovering Alcoholics Ltd and to use such funds for the benefit of the community by providing housing and any such associated amenities to recovering alcoholics in necessitous circumstances upon terms appropriate to their means.

ALMS HOUSE

Daily Latin Tridentine Mass Religious Instruction for both adults and children. Annual Children Camp, retreats for adults advice and support for Phillipino Community Aid for families with special problems when possible financial aid to families. Visits to the sick in homes and hospitals.

We operate as Beckingham ParentsTeachers and Friends Association - we are a group of parents, relatives (& staff) who organise fund raising events within the school, for the benefit of the school.

Upkeep of Almshouses - specific ones only.

Payment of travelling expenses for visiting people in hospitals, convalescent homes or similar institutionsPayments to assist in meeting electricity and gas billsGrants may be made in the form of special payments to relieve sickness or infirmity, payment towards the cost of adapting the home of the disabled etc..

Small, ancient charity whose income is used to promote the work of the Philip Metalfe Alms Houses

THE AIM OF THE CHARITY IS TO HELP PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES, SERVICES ETC FOR OUR PUPILS WHICH ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THE NORMAL SCHOOL BUDGET.

Maintain trust fund. Rent grounds adjacent to school from landlord. Provide recreational facilities for pupils.

Almshouse

Provision of educational grants to local schools in the Arksey and Bentley area

We are a place of worship and we give Donations to other charities such as Water Aid and Save the Children also Framework, an organisation for the homeless. We gave to UNICEF for the Ebola crisis.

Our charity helps individuals who live or attend school in the area specified by the terms of the charity with books for educational purposes, with travel to & from school, with uniform, with further educational studies at university abroad or at home. This year we had four applicants.

The Grinshill Parish Benefit Fund provides Christmas baskets of fruit to the elderly/those living on their own within Grinshill parish. This also includes those who were living in the parish and now live in a Residential Home.

Provision of one almshouse divided into two one bed flats.

We give small donations to local people in need. We have a village meals on wheels service to which we occasionally give donations. We take small gifts to local elderly people in hospital or Care Homes at Christmas time

The main object of the Society is to preserve and enhance the character of the parish of Chedworth, and to improve its appearance and amenities. This remit embraces many aspects of Village life, including historical interest, conservation, environmental concern, planning and housing development, and provision of amenities. The Society also promotes a strong social calender.

The provision of extra comforts and amenities not otherwise provided from the rates for the residents of the Homes for the Aged knows as Sunnybank, Narberth and Cilwendeg, Boncath.

PROCLAIMING THE CHRISTIAN GOSPEL BOTH AT HOME AND OVERSEAS.

To provide holidays for poor, sick or deprived children resident in the London borough of Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, Havering and Newham.

The object of PAWS is the relief of domestic animals suffering from sickness, maltreatment or poor circumstances.PAWS will also assisst with feral animals wherever possible, particularly with trapping and neutering. Where possible, PAWS will seek to provide temporary accommodation for unwanted or homeless animals, at least until such time as a suitable, permanent home can be found.

Housing

Assisting and providing relief for mentally handicapped people(and their carers) in the Harlow District and surrounding area. This may involve group/personal outings, home visits or advice.
