Solden Hill House is a collection of residential care home for adults with learning disabilities in Northamptonshire. Accommodation is in 10 residential units, 4 on the main site near Byfield, 1 in Byfield village, 4 in Brackley and 1 in Duston. Activities include craft workshops, dance, music and art therapy, outings and local activities - riding, sailing, swimming and college courses,

The objectives of the charity during the period were the relief of poverty, sickness and suffering of needy. To educate the public about their basic rights to obtain education, shelter/housing, health care, and other basic necessities of life especially in Pakistan. The advancement and teaching of the Islam with particular emphasis on promoting harmony and improving the conditions of life.

To enable people living in the later stages of any life limiting illness to die at home with dignity, independence & surrounded by their loved ones if that is their choice. Services include, hands on care, equipment loan, physiotherapy, complementary therapy, counselling, bereavement, a Clinical Nurse Specialist, training & advanced care planning. Services are free of charge, 24/7, 365 days a year

East Kent Mencap provides a range of services for children and adults which include: Person Centred Day Resource Services and community based access. Social housing including, 24/7 support in well maintained accommodation and additional independent living service. Domiciliary Care. Community support. Projects, Social clubs and Events for both adults and children/young people.

The founding and running of homes and services for people with learning disabilities

The prevention and relief of poverty for the public benefit in Wigan, Leigh and surrounding areas, by working with people who are experiencing homelessness, poverty, crisis or worklessness: providing support, practical skills and good quality social housing.

The relief of the aged and disabled who are resident in and around Minchinhampton by the provsion of facilities for rehabilitation, recreation and leisure time occupation. This includes charity fund raising and the operation of a nursing home know as Horsfall House.

NO UNSOLICITED REQUESTS ARE ACCEPTED.Through its grant making the charity primarily supports: young people with the provision of life skills and/or improving social mobility; mental health; members or former members of the armed forces; people transitioning from rough sleeping.

We provide help and support for people with a learning disability, their families, dependants and carers to enable those with a learning disability to live as full a life as their disability will allow.We support beneficiaries in our three residential care homes, supported living bungalow. Forming alliances and collaborating with experts by experience to create positive, long-term changes to policies and practices that exclude migrants.

The organisation provides physical and emotional support for those suffering from cancer or other illness/bereavement either themselves or close family members (e.g.parents/siblings) by providing home help, company, support with attending appointments, days out, respite care, counselling, therapy, massage and other comforting / pampering treats to maintain their emotional strength and well-being.
