Housing Charities

We provide refuge space for Latin American women and children in the UK who flee domestic violence. Our Advice and Information Centre provides advocacy and support for women who are not ready yet to leave abusive relationships or might not be eligible to live in the refuge. We recently took on floating support and we are part of the Islington BME Outreach Project.

The charity works with persons who by reason of mental or physical health face exclusion. Activities carried out include the provision of housing and support, the provision of advice, advocacy and development opportunities for individuals and the commitment to learn from individuals' experiences and voice these to inform social action and social change.

WE PROVIDE HOMECARE SERVICES TO CLIENTS IN THEIR OWN HOME. WE ALSO HELP DISABLED PEOPLE TO ACCESS SPORTS ACTIVITIES.

The charity supports adults with a learning and/or physical disability to live independently in their own homes. Each person has a team of support workers to help them with every aspect of their lives.

All Souls welcomes over 2,300 people to its weekly Sunday services from a wide international and multi cultural backgroundWe run some 75 fellowship groups and a range of smaller groups serving the Christian development of its members and run a number of community led initiatives including a ministry to the homeless.We have over 38 mission partners in cross cultural work in the UK and overseas.

Offering free independent advice to residents of Wirral and environs on issues relating to debt, welfare benefits, housing, mild to moderate mental health,consumer, family matters etc.

Change Please Foundation's mission is to support people experiencing homelessness back into employment. To support this mission, we run a training academy, train and employ people experiencing homelessness as Baristas, provide them with additional support and then into onward employment.

THE MAIN ACTIVITY OF THE CHARITY IS TO PROVIDE A HOSTEL FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE COME TO UK TO PURSUE THEIR STUDIES.

Greensville Trust runs a number of faith based educational and support courses and classes, predominantly across the north of England. Greensville trust also organises a number of excursions and a variety of community events. The trust also has it's own premises in Liverpool; 'Felicity House', which houses a nursery and functions as a central hub for the trust.

Aspire Oxfordshire is an employment charity and social enterprise that creates real work placements, training, employment and housing opportunities for people who face severe and multiple disadvantages such as homelessness, substance misuse and offending. Our charity is dedicated to transforming the life chances of local men and women who have survived adversity.

To relieve the needs of persons in need by reason of their age or infirmity by providing and operating a care home, with a Christian ethos, in particular but not exclusively for those people who reside in East Devon

Provision of accommodation, food, care and other facilities for the elderly

Resources for Autism provides practical serices for individuals on the autistic spectrum and their families. These include music and art therapy, play and youth club services, holiday play schemes, adult art studio and social skills groups, home based family support, siblings groups and information and advice. These take place in a range of venues throughout the UK.

The Horse Trust exists to enhance and improve the quality of life of equines in the UK. In achieving these objectives The Trust undertakes three main strategic aims:Sanctuary - to provide sanctuary and respite care at The Home of Rest for Horses Scientific Research - to fund non-invasive research.Knowledge and Skills - to devise and deliver a broad spectrum of training courses.

Rainforest Trust UK works in partnership with Rainforest Trust in the US to preserve and protect rainforests and other tropical habitat, particularly areas that are home to endangered species. We work in collaboration with trusted local NGOs and indigenous communities to place land under protection, either by land purchase or land designation as community forests or national parks.

We provide residential care in a homely community setting encouraging independence and improving the quality of life of our residents. We are more of a community than a residential care home while providing 24 hour loving care for our residents in a lovely setting with dedicated, experienced and well trained staff.

The West London Mission (WLM) is a Circuit of the Methodist Church. We have two city centre churches and two areas of mission. The churches engage in worship, learning and caring, service, and evangelism, in ways that reflect Methodist tradition and their own identity, history and context. WLM runs a range of housing and community services and works with students and young adults in both churches.

Charleston is a house, garden and art gallery situated in the South Downs National Park. It was the home of twentieth century artists Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, who were key members of the Bloomsbury group. Charleston has a shop and cafe and is available for venue hire. It is open all year.

Management of Almshouses

The Sick Children's Trust provides essential accommodation and amenities (Homes from Home) for the families and carers of sick children undergoing treatment at a number of hospitals around the country.

We are committed to preventing cruelty and promoting kindness to animals. We aim to reduce animal suffering and increase animal well-being through our activities. We do this via our veterinary services in a dedicated veterinary clinic, through re-homing and re-uniting owners of lost animals in our animal home (Bristol Animal Rescue Centre) and through Branch awareness activities.

To promote the holistic welfare of those suffering terminal illness and to establish, maintain and manage a hospice. Physical, psychological, social and spiritual dimensions are addressed in equal balance for each individual within the context of their family. Patients may experience help from home care, day care, in-patient care, hospital support, lymphoedema care or home nursing.

New Roots provides supported accommodation in Bassetlaw & Newark & Sherwood to homeless and vulnerably housed young people between 16-21yrs. We work with single young people, couples and young parents. It is the aim of New Roots to support all service users in the development of independent living skills and making the transition to suitable and permanent accommodation within their own community

The charity provides holistic support services to BMER ( Black,Minority, Ethnic, Refugee) women and children and prioritises work on issues around violence against women ( which includes domestic violence, rape, forced marriages and honour killings). The Charity also works on the challenges associated with violence such as homelessness, welfare benefits, child contact and Immigration.
