Provision of residential and nursing care to the elderly in the vicinity of Lindfield, West Sussex

The object of the Charity is the relief of needy elderly people. The principal activity of the Charity is to provide high quality, professional residential care at two Homes for elderly persons of limited means at Rosehill and Barn Close, Carlisle. In addition, since 2016 the Charity has made grants to Age UK Carlisle and Eden to fund a Carlisle based information and advice officer.

1) To preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to teach the Doctrines of the Christian Faith, 2) To provide a spiritual home for Christians and provide facilities for the ministry of the church.3) To further the cause of Christ on the mission field worldwide and to promote the welfare primarily, though not exclusively of Chinese in and around London, in recognition of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The relief of those in need, hardship or distress in particular those who are vulnerable, young people, asylum seekers and refugees by the provision of supporting housing for their benefit. To operate a foster care agency and provide care and support for their benefit. To also deliver education. To help relieve poverty in Sri Lanka, Romania and Kenya.

Ministering to children: Youth: Young adults: Bible teaching - practical living: Counselling: Prayer - camps for each group - all needs freely provided. Old peoples homes: Visited weekly - to encourage residents with spiritual songs - preaching and counselling.

ANIMAL WELFARE INCLUDING RESCUE, REHABILITATION AND REHOMING OF COMPANION ANIMALS (DOGS, CATS AND SOME SMALL ANIMALS), ANIMAL WELFARE EDUCATION ACTIVITIES.

Provide accommodation for retired and elderly people who have lived in the Parish of Benenden. Provide regular contact with the residents and assistance where necessary.

Respite is offered to children aged 0-19 years, anything from a 2 hour tea visit up to a 16 night stay. Originally established in 1985 as the Campaign for Single Homeless (COSH), Solo Housing (East Anglia) is a Registered Provider of Social Housing and a Registered Charity. Solo is constituted as a company limited by guarantee. We support a range of single people to overcome barriers preventing them from finding and sustaining decent accommodation.

Giving advice and information across a wide range of social welfare law issues - debt, welfare benefits, employment, housing, family, consumer etc.The charity operates through a city centre main office and has 6 outreach bases across the Nottingham conurbation.

The Charity provides accommodation and care for the homeless at Mary and Joseph House, Palmerston Street, Ancoats, Manchester under a Management Agreement with Contour Housing Association. The Charity also assists in the operation of a house for homeless young people at 69 Palatine Road, Manchester in conjunction with The De Paul Trust.

Rennie Grove Hospice Care provides palliative care for adults and children who have been diagnosed with cancer or another life limiting illness in Herts and Bucks. Through our 24/7 responsive hospice at home service, our specialist nurses give patients the choice to be cared for at home. We also offer support services for families and, in Herts, a range of day services for patients & families.

The provision of staff to support our clients within our day care centre, their home or other locations. Also, the provision of Social Enterprise initiatives including the garden furniture workshop and green bike project.

Emmaus supports formerly homeless people by giving them a home, meaningful voluntary work in a social enterprise and an opportunity to get back on their feet again. For many who ever experience homelessness one of the biggest obstacles they must overcome is a loss of self-esteem. Emmaus provides a stable home and the opportunity to regain self-worth, making a real contribution to their community.

Age UK York offers a range of services and support to older people in the City of York. Activities include: providing information and advice; respite care; domiciliary care; a befriending service; a home from hospital service; providing escorted transport; running day clubs and a 'Keep your Pet' service. Age UK York operates four charity shops in locations across the city and surrounding area.

The charity works to relieve hardship, need and distress amongst those who are homeless, and to educate the public concerning the homeless.

The charity is set up to provide accomodation and educational opportunies for the homeless people of Sunderland and surrounding areas.

Age UK Hythe & Lyminge encourage and enable independence and wellbeing in later life. We aim to reduce social isolation and loneliness, improve the quality of life and reduce financial hardship, services include, 2 course lunch, transport, social opportunities and activities, singing, cooking, walking, exercise, home meals, independent living service, and information and advice and much more.

The Trust provides and maintains one or more homes in which young people in need of such assistance may reside in conditions calculated to assist to establish themselves in life as ordinary members of society.

WE ARE A CHRISTIAN CHURCH WHERE EVERYONE IS WELCOME. WE HOST SUNDAYSERVICES, COMMUNITY, AND MIDWEEK SOCIAL, SPORTS AND INTEREST GROUPS. We are a multisite church based in SW London with sites in Balham, Battersea, and Wandsworth. We run various projects including 'Warm Spaces', Toddler groups, homeless outreach, healing, evangelism, and various youth work initiatives.

Community Housing Cymru is the membership body for housing associations and community mutuals in Wales, which are all not-for-profit and provide around 158,000 homes and housing services throughout Wales. We promote the voluntary housing sector in Wales and the relief of financial hardship through the sector's provision of low cost social housing.

The poor and disadvantaged are those most affected by public bodies: access to health care, asylum, benefits and affordable housing depend on decisions of public bodies. Such decisions should be made in accordance with public law. The Public Law Project challenges public bodies and improves decision-making through advice and litigation, research and policy work and training other advisers.
