The charity is engaged in the promotion of kindness and prevention of cruelty to animals by actively seeking convictions against offenders committing cruelty to animals. In addition the charity seeks to re home as many homeless animals as possible within the Mid Lincolnshire area. The charity is also committed to a non destruct policy.

To offer emotional support and practical help to individuals with life-threatening illness and to their carers and families.

Provision of accommodation for poor persons over the age of 60 years.

To provide refuge accommodation with associated support services, information and advocacy to women and children who are living with or have experienced domestic abuse. Aftercare and resettlement to women who have left the refuge. Outreach support to women and children living in the Newark & Sherwood area. Awareness raising information to Agencies and individuals.

As a church and charity, we seek to engage in long term, relational and innovative work which seeks to contribute to the personal, spiritual and social transformation and well-being of people living and working in Tower Hamlets, East London. We aim to support and empower people living in challenging and difficult circumstances to reach their full potential.

The care of priests who have to retire from full-time ministry and also catering for priests and religious brothers and sisters who need time to make a retreat, rest after missionary work or post-operative care or rest.Help is extended to all people in need and special attention is given to the care of the homeless, families in need and orphans.

Maintenance of arms houses relief in need, hardship and distress in Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside and South Tyneside and all places within 5 miles of the River Tyne.

An Almshouse charity offering general sheltered housing for the elderly (aged 60 and over). The accommodation comprises 35 self-contained flats with on-site warden based on one site in central Hull, East Yorkshire.

To provide sheltered housing for elderly persons

The branch supports animals in need in both Conwy and Gwynedd in North Wales. We provide subsidised veterinary services for eligible clients at our welfare clinic in Llandudno Junction and as a partner of the RSPCA North Wales Mobile Clinic. We also support the local Inspectorate to rehabilitate and re-home animals and operate a charity shop in Llandudno to help finance our work.

The objects of the society are to promote the welfare of its members spiritually, socially, intellectually and physically and to aid missions at home and abroad.

The principle activity of the charity is the running of an almshouse for the people of Gateshead

YMCA has a homeless hostel for young men aged 16-35 with ongoing support. We also provide a centre based community centre which offers a range of facilities which includes a computer suite, climbing wall, gym facilities and training rooms. YMCA Port Talbot offers a range of services which includes education/training, sporting, health/fitness and cultural activities.

The objective of the charity is to use medical aid, education, social and other relief as an expression of God's love. By funding these activities the organisation and its Directors believe that it can have a positive effect upon individuals who have become homeless, dispossessed of their possessions or opportunities of employment through natural causes or war.

Provision of Almshouse accommodation to the elderly and needy.

The charity provides and maintains accommodation for "poor persons of good character who (except in special cases) are resident in Stamford at the time of their appointment as an Almsperson" in return for a weekly maintenance contribution. The Trustees may also apply income of the charity for the general benefit of the poor as they think fit in ways listed in the Charity Commission charter.

To take animals from the National society Inspectors, to assist the National charity in it's aims of protecting animals and to find homes for those animals which come into our care. To assist with individuals with the care of their animals.

The trust was established to relieve conditions of need, hardship or distress of the Christadelphian Community in the British Isles by providing grants. The trust has a policy of making regular grants, the largest of which is the Christadelphian care homes and irregular compassionate grants to individuals.

To maintain a shelter for the care, treatment and re-homing where possible of unwanted, homeless, ill treated, stray, injured and sick animals.

We are an Almshouse Charity providing accommodation for elderly and families in Blandford Forum. We also have and Apprenticing and Education Charity and a Relief in Need.

The charity tends to support charitable projects either very close to home - mainly in mid-Cornwall where these tend to be of a cultural nature - or in the developing world, where we tend to concentrate on the relief of poverty by supporting small-scale community projects.
