Direct Help & Advice (DHA) is an independent charity established in 1995 which promotes community cohesion and helps people out of debt, poverty, homelessness and into work and volunteering.

Pets As Therapy facilitates visits by registered volunteers with their temperament assessed dogs and cats to establishments including hospitals, hospices, residential and nursing homes, and day care centres, bringing comfort, companionship and therapy into the lives of thousands of patients and residents. Registered PAT dogs and cats also work with phobic children and stroke patients.

The Charity owns and manages Almshouses in Isleham, Cambridgeshire

Providing information, advice and guidance on education and training, welfare benefits, housing, money and debt, business start up, health promotion such as HIV / AIDS and mental health, youth activities, opportunities for volunteering, interpreting and translation, and conduct research as necessary.

Provision of domiciliary care, training and support to persons with learning difficulties in the Ribble Valley district of Lancashire.

Provision of almshouse accommodation for persons of limited financial means

Home-Start Portsmouth offers a unique service to parents (with at least one child under school age) through the provision of trained and supervised volunteers who visit families in their own home and through professionally run family groups both of which offer regular, informal support, friendship and practical help.

Every Youth exists to help the most disadvataged young people succeed in life. Homelessness is our chosen indicator of disadvantage and is a symptom of complex issues - often throughout childhood - that can only be addressed through holistic and patient support. We believe that with such support young people can overcome trauma and succeed on their terms.

Delivers services that create opportunities for disabled people to live the lifestyle that they would choose. This includes residential care with training for independent living, home care and personal support, training in employability skills and holiday accommodation.

Domestic violence service provision including women's refuge accommodation, drop in centre, floating support services, children's services, counselling service, parenting service, group work and training provision.

CNC aims to help older and vulnerable people maintain their independence and connections with their communities and avoid admision to hospital. We have a team of over 120 volunteers who provide direct support through our Help at Home service. Our Community Development team support local community groups who also share our aims. We also represent older people's interests wherever possible.

The charity SAHWR provides private refuges where individuals may have temporary rest and protection from attack and persecution. The charity also provides an outreach service for victims in the community.

The Associations principle acitivities are the residential home (care home) carried out at Healey House, full day provision at the John Taplin Centre, social and rehabilitation acitivites in Bexhill, Mountfield and at clubs run by the association, together with the provision of advice, information and support ro visually impaired people of all ages living in Hastings and Rother areas.

Dementia Matters provides support services to people with dementia and other degenerative neurological disorders and their carers. The charity provides a home care and support service in the community, independent supported living houses, day centres, residential respite care, training, advice and information and advocacy.

The CAP is a day centre for homeless and vulnerable adults based in Sheffield City Centre. Services provided are(showers, free telephone, free breakfasts, subsidised lunches, access to health care professionals, education, football, sewing, literacy & numeracy, internet access,advice & guidance session, signposting and working alongside other agencies) Also offered are a variety of activities.

Doorways works with vulnerable young people 16-25 years who are homeless, vulnerably housed or in housing need in Warwickshire. The Charity's core services are Housing Advice, Support and Development. All services work closely together to provide appropriate options for young people to enable clients to manage successful, sustained independent living

IN THE COMMUNITY WE PROVIDE HOME FROM HOSPITAL, BEFREINDING, A REMINISCENCE SERVICE AND TRANSPORT. WE HAVE THREE FUND-RAISING CHARITY SHOPS LOCATED IN EASTBOURNE.

To alleviate the suffering of stray, unwanted and ill-treated animals. To rescue and find good homes for them. Enforce a strict neutering policy. Do not destroy unless on veterinary adviceTrain and socilialise domestic animals and promote responsible ownership. Carry out home checks. Fund raise to support our aims.

Provision of places of refuge, advice, support and advocacy for women and their children who are the victims of domestic violence and abuse.

Freedom Community Alliance Ltd provides a range of services to homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals. The charitable company was formed in 2013 and became a registered social landlord in 2014. The company owns and manages accommodation services for the benefit of homeless young people within the Tyneside and Manchester areas, as well the London Borough of Haringey.
