The Horse Rescue Fund aims to prevent and relieve cruelty to horses, ponies and donkeys, to protect them from unnecessary suffering and to advance the education of the public in their proper care and treatment. To this end we rescue any neglected or badly treated equines, restore them to full health and carry out all necessary rehabilitation to enable us to place them on loan in approved homes.

Open Door supports a homelessness night shelter and daytime drop-in for vulnerable people in St Albans. Set up in 1992, the charity aims to ensure that no-one needs to sleep rough in St Albans and generally to improve the life chances of homeless people. Our main activities are to raise funds, primarily from the local community, to support and improve the service and to promote volunteering.

Provides coordination for the WI in Buckinghamshire; advances the education of women and girls in important local and national political and social issues, music, drama and other cultural subjects, agriculture, crafts, home economics, science, health and social welfare; promotes sustainable development; advances health and advances citizenship by promoting civic responsibility and volunteering.

SUCH AS LEUKAEMIA,EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT LEUKAEMIA. TO PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO LEUKAEMIA AND OTHER BONE MARROW DISEASES..

Provision of Almshouses

Provision of housing for people in housing need aged 50 or over.The housing is provided in 12 almshouse cottage homes in Churchill, North Somerset.Preference is given to applicants in financial need and from, or with, connections with this area.

The Charity provides housing and support services to the elderly in almshouses in Upton Lane, east London.

To propagate the Christian faith by preaching, teaching and helping to meet community needs at home and overseas. By provision of financial and human resources for welfare and education in a Christian context.

TO PROVIDE HOUSING TO THE POOR AND NEEDY OF CHESHAM, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE. THIS WILL INCLUDE PROVIDING HOUSING TO CHESHAM RESIDENTS THAT HAVE MOVED AWAY BUT WHO NOW NEED TO RETURN TO THE AREA FOR FAMILY SUPPORT.

QMCG buys and sources new clothing, sleeping bags and linen and distributes these items once a year to British charities, operating only in the United Kingdom, to help vulnerable and homeless people.

Provision of housing for persons in need in the following order of priority. 1) Residents in the Parish of Haydon over 60 years. 2) Persons resident in Haydon Parish. 3) Persons resident in Northumberland over 60 years. 4) Exceptionally, Persons resident outside of Northumberland over 60 years.

Activities to relieve suffering, distress & poverty via ourselves & other outlets. Help to RBC Ministries/Gt. Nth. Air Ambulance/Unicef/Barnabus Fund & Various other Charities plus Disaster requests.Human resources & Church space (disability ok!) available to community for advocacy, advice & leisure. Church Services:- general, weekly Am; 1st Pm monthly at nearby sheltered housing complex.

The Charity exists to maintain and manage 10 almshouses in its ownership for poor persons of good character who are members of the Roman Catholic Church.
