LEEDS N&W FOODBANK RELIEVES POVERTY, IN PARTICULAR HUNGER, BUT IS ALSO BENEFICIAL IN HELPING TO PREVENT HOUSING LOSS, MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS, FAMILY BREAKDOWN, CRIME AND OTHER PROBLEMS RELATED TO POVERTY. WE PROVIDE FOOD AND OTHER ESSENTIAL ITEMS SUCH AS TOILETRIES , TO THOSE WHO FIND THEMSELVES IN A CRISIS. WE PROVIDE FOOD SUFFICIENT FOR 10 MEALS TO HELP PEOPLE THROUGH THEIR IMMEDIATE CRISIS.

PCP Housing provides beneficiaries who have had problems with substance misuse with access to drug/alcohol free supported housing. PCP Housing Staff ensure maintenance is carried out and that the houses are fully furnished. Regular random drug and alcohol testing is carried out. Each resident receives regularly scheduled key working sessions.

Rushmoor voluntary services supports voluntary action. We are here to help increase the skills and capacity of local voluntary and community groups. We provide free information, advice and support to enable groups to help people in Farnborough, Aldershot and the surrounding area. We also manage a volunteer centre, home help service, dial a ride transport services and community transport scheme.

The charity (i) provides and maintains the charity's almshouse developments at Lovell Park Road, Leeds and Raglan Road, Leeds and (ii) provides grants to organisations and to projects in Leeds which alleviate financial hardship, particularly in relation to housing and social isolation.

Women Acting In Todays Society (WAITS) supporting women affected by domestic abuse, with specialism in supporting Global Majority women and offenders. Providing advocacy, refuge, counselling, development workshops that aim to increase skills and confidence. Empowering women, building the leadership skills of women to engage more effectively with networks, policy makers and service providers.

Support to people of all ages with learning disability in & around Melton, through clubs, services and facilities for leisure-time occupation, and the development of skills for independent living. Personal support to people with learning disability in their homes and in the community, enabling respite for families and carers. A pre-school nursery inclusive of children with learning disability.

The relief of young people and their families throughout the UK and Northern Ireland, particularly those who are, or have been, in the care system.The provision of free holiday home accommodation for foster families.Supporting organisations that promote attachment awareness, especially in schools

Inn Churches has grown from a month-long pilot to a thriving community project with more than 900 volunteers from churches and the wider community in Bradford. We have provided over 5000 beds for homeless and vulnerable people in the Bradford area. In addition we provide practical support for those who need it most in the form of the WHHP programme, starter packs, food and cookery lessons.

The Charity promotes gas safety, particularly CO poisoning, working with GSR and others. It supports safety centres and commissioned GSR & Edcoms to develop and deliver schools programmes. Consultants deliver a training project involving identification of CO risks and promotion of material via trusted intermediaries. The grant programme for Home Improvement Agencies with Foundations was extended.

Our aim is to offer help and assistance to elderly, disabled and vulnerable people of the 2 Doctors surgeries in Totnes and surrounding parishes to enable them to live in their own homes and receive a level of support which will help them remain independent and not be isolated from the community.We provide services such health related transport, befriending, shopping, home help and form filling.

Working to improve the British public's understanding of the Arab world, the Centre is home to art exhibitions and a specialist library open to the public. Organising and promoting Arab-related arts and cultural events in the UK including Arabic Calligraphy and language classes, talks on a variety of topics and an award. The Centre houses and supports like-minded organisations at its premises.

To advance education and relieve need amongst people in Whitehaven and surrounding district. To provide support accommodation to Homeless young people 16-25yrs. To provide a Healthy living centre for the whole community with some free services to those with minor mental health problems.

We work for the benefit of all animals, by trying to prevent cruelty and by providing new homes for the many animals which come into our care. We help all animals-large or small.

Our activities include fundraising, organising Animal Activity Days, giving Welfare Vouchers to the Public for any conditions their animal may be suffering from, funding the Re-homing project in the Branch area,paying vets bills, and funding neutering and speying. We also fund boarding and fostering of animals in need of a home to recuperate in.

We are a short to medium term homeless hostel providing support for men, aged 25-60, in Watford with complex needs; primarily homelessness, drug and alcohol issues. We provide 24-hr support, in-house therapists, self-help strategies, supportive group work, signposting to external services, assistance with maximising benefits, advice on education and training and follow on support / resettlement.

Citizens Advice South Hams is a registered charity and offers FREE, CONFIDENTIAL, INDEPENDENT and IMPARTIAL advice on a wide range of issues, including: Benefits: Consumer: Debts: Employment and Housing.

Alpha House Calderdale houses and supports those who have multiple problems, including mental health, offending and substance misuse issues, who need structure and support to maintain stable, law-abiding and drug free lives in the community. We help these residents, as well as others attending our daycare provision, to achieve their goals and aspirations and build meaningful, fulfilling lives.

The key objectives and activities of the charitable company are to relieve the distress and suffering of women and their children staying at the refuge.

A supported housing project for young single homeless young women.

The Charity provides care for persons with learning disabilities through the provision of supported accommodation. The Charity and its employees are currently able to support up to 9 persons in purpose built accommodation in Blackburn.
