Housing Charities

The Neath Port Talbot Carers Service provides support for all unpaid carers, providing information, signposting, benefit advice and support, emotional support and provide services in the community. Outreach is provided in the community as well as home visits. The service works in partnership with Social Services to carry out complete carers assessments.

Property Rental for people in necessitous circumstances, commissioning the construction of new properties. Providing support and advice about housing matters.

Christian worship and pastoral care; drop-in centre for elderly; provision of hostel accommodation to those in need of low-cost housing; food distribution programme; Saturday Supplementary School; housing & benefits advice; Youth activities (Boys and Girls Brigade; Summer Holiday Club); project to support young mothers in the community part funded (70%) by the Methodist Church VentureFX fund.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE ANY SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF GREATER MANCHESTER AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES SHALL SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND DISTRESS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM THE EFFECTS OF HOMELESSNESS.

To aid residents of the United Kingdom who are in need of care, whether wholly or partially, including those who are ill, disabled or injured, old and infirm or children with special needs. Such aid will also be given to the providers of care such as Institutions and Homes. Aid will not be given directly to individuals.THE TRUST DOES NOT ACCEPT UNSOLICITED APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDING.

The Charity's objectives and principal activity is the provision of holistic care for the needy and the provision of education within the London Borough of Redbridge and surrounding areas. Activities include a drop in centre (The Welcome Centre) to help and support the homeless, refugees and asylum seekers. Projects also include Language classes, childcare and social groups for senior citizens.

THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY IN LEIGH, WIGAN AND SURROUNDING AREAS, WORKING WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE ON LOW INCOMES OR EXPERIENCING POVERTY, HOMELESSNESS, CRISIS OR WORKLESSNESS BY PROVIDING FOOD, SHELTER, SUPPORT, PRACTICAL SKILLS, ADVICE AND USING FOOD SURPLUS REDISTRIBUTION IN THE COMMUNITY TO REDUCE WASTE AND RAISE ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITES INCLUDING:FEEDING PROGRAMMES AND SOCIAL ACTION AMONGST HOMELESS AND MARGINALISED, WEEKLY GROUPS AIMED AT MEETING NEEDS OF THOSE AGED FROM PRESCHOOL THROUGH TO SENIOR CITIZENS, CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRY WORK, OVERSEAS AID.

The charity focuses on supporting charitable causes within communities with a view to improving the lives of disadvantaged residents of those communities, for example, by supporting the improvement and maintenance of social housing, promoting education, training and skills development and youth diversion programmes.

A registered provider of domiciliary care services to those in need due to age, ill health, disability or other disadvantage and to protect the health of those caring for people with physical, mental or sensory impairment within the family or home by providing support for carers

Provide child care nursery, after school club and holiday Clubs in 3 settings. We provide a range of services that address personal development.We work with Looked after Children mentoring them and giving training to move into their own home. Our Training Centre provides opportunities for our learners to gain accredited qualifications around essential skills resiliency and emotional wellbeing.

Tai Pawb's mission is to promote equality and social justice in housing in Wales. The charity has a membership structure comprising of a range of housing organisations and interests. Its services include consultancy advice and support, Equality in Housing seminars, Equality in Practice meetings, Good Practice Briefings and training.

Wycombe Homeless Connection serves people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in south Bucks, working with volunteers, partner organisations and local authorities.Motivated by our Christian faith, we provide free advice and support to prevent homelessness and to reduce the harm it causes. We help people find a home and defend the rights of people who are homeless or facing homelessness.
