Providing almshouse accommodation for the elderly. Acting as landlord for residential property and land.

We are a Christian Church. We hold Christian services every week. Our congregation has a high proportion of children, elderly and vulnerable adults and we help to care for them on a practical, emotional and spiritual level. We donate money to various Christian charities at home and abroad including relief organisations.

The purpose of the Charity is to maintain the J G and S Mellers Almshouses at 178, 180, 182, 184, 186, 188 and 190 Wollaton Vale, Nottingham to provide housing for necessitous persons of good character and reputation being residents in the City of Nottingham.

Provide almshouse accommodation to poor persons of good character by letting of its nine properties.

The Manse is used to house the Minister and family. The minister works for/at Mill Rd Baptist Church.If not required for housing of the minister it is offered as a rental property within the community.

Sunday church services, bible study groups, parent and toddler group, Rainbow Tots Playgroup, Kidz Klub, youth group, music group, town centre coffee morning, schools work, support for home and overseas charities.

The charity provides accommodation for the elderly (over 55) with low incomes, sheltered accommodation is not provided. The charity is a member of the Almshouse Association.

To rescue and provide care and shelter for lost, abandoned or ill-treated dogs and to find new homes for such animals wherever possible.To fund research into hereditary conditions or other deseases or conditions in dogs and to disseminate the useful results of such research for the public benefit.

General money rising activities ,sponsored walks,day trips,outings, annual ruffle,lunches.We have Sunday teas open to members with educational talks.Every Friday is drop in day for elderly and others.We provide yoga classes for elderly and others every week and hand craft and embroidery classes for members and others.We visit elderly and sick persons at Hospitals and homes mainly in North London.

PROVISION OF FOOD, DRINKS, CLOTHING, BEDDING AND COMPANIONSHIP TO ROUGH SLEEPERS AND OTHER DISADVANTAGED PERSONS ON THE STREETS OF LONDON AND SLOUGH AND MAINTAIN A NIGHT SHELTER EACH WINTER/SPRING FOR HOMELESS IN SLOUGH.

To meet the needs of men and women who are homeless, root-less, isolated or lonely over the Christmas and New Year period by providing meals, clothes, companionship, access to services such as hairdressing - support for organisations who offer similar schemes through the year.

This charity owns and manages two Almshouses located in Suffield Road, High Wycombe providing self contained accommodation with gardens to elderly persons from High Wycombe who are facing financial hardship.

Provide housing for poor, elderly people.

Relieving persons in need of assistance who are resident in the parishes of Bishopstoke, Fair Oak and Horton Heath. The Charity owns, manages and rents out five properties in Fair Oak Square, Fair Oak, Hampshire. Once the cost of property maintenance and insurance has been paid out of the rental income the Trustees make funds via third parties such as local housing charities and schools.

South Molton Cottage Homes provides accommodation for elderly people who have lived in the area for at least 5 years. There are eight cottages, 4 for single occupancy and 4 for couples. All are occupied at the present time.

The object of the charity is the relief of persons in need who are elderly, sick, convalescent, disabled or infirm. The trustees relieve those eligible for assistance by making grants of money to enable or assist them to obtain accommodation, rest or respite which they could not otherwise afford. They also provide grants to carers of such people to enable or to assist them to obtain respite.
