Housing Charities

The charity provides three one bedroom cottages for people "in need, hardship or distress" , in the parish of Aldbury Tring Hertfordshire HP235RT

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. And B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

This charity raises money that is spent on the pupils of Prenton Primary School, Wirral. Expenditure is on items such as PE equipment, IT hardware/software, books, games school visits and school playground. Funds are raised through activities within the school involving parents, pupils and the local community.

The Miner's InstituteIs the focal point of many local social activities in the Llynvi valley Activities include Social Bingo and meeting point, Home of Nanty Youth Club, Private Gym in Basement complex. Children's Playgroup Ballroom and Street Dancing.and Jazzband practice.Social activities for the local rugby club & other local social events.Venue for Educational & Training Activities.

The principal activity of the Trust is to nominate a candidate for the annual award and to raise funds for the trust.

The maintenance of the homes belonging to the Abbeyfield Wessex Society Limited and for the benefit of persons resident in the Society's homes.

The Charity provides separate Almshouse accommodation for two Almspeople in the Parish of Tatenhill, Staffordshire

Run Almshouses in Sutton Courtenay

To provide comfortable well maintained accommodation for the elderly people of Hoylandswaine firstly & Penistone etc as directed by George Senior in the original documents.

Providing accommodation to persons in need and of not less than 55 years of age.

Conferences & seminars are held on topical issues, after which the appropriate government department is informed of our discussions. We have permanent groups which are concerned with specific subjects i.e. health, education, arts & media, consumer affairs, science & technology, foreign affairs, social employment & housing issues. These groups hold regular meetings.

TO PROVIDE ALMSHOUSES AND OTHER HOUSING FOR POOR PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER RESIDENT IN BRISTOL

The charity was set up to operate a shop selling donated goods to the public. The income generated by this is used to support worthwhile causes that are not government funded and rely on public donations. The charity is a collection point for cat food, bedding etc for Homeless Cats Cardiff. It supports the homeless and rough sleepers by providing free clothing and household goods when requested

Provision of almshouses for poor persons who through age, infirmity, ill health or lack of means, are incapable or unable properly to house themselves, with preference for old or retired yacht hands and ex-servicemen of The Royal Navy, Army, Airforce and auxiliary services and their widow and dependants who have a local connection.

The main purposes of the W.I Organisation are to enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, arts, crafts and sciences, to improve & develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions national & international, in music, drama & cultural subjects & in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health & social wel

To provide accommodation in Castle Camps for poor persons of good character who from age, ill health or accident or infirmity are wholly or in part unable to maintain themselves by their own exertions

To provide accomodation for widows who are in need and who are inhabitants of the parish of Little Easton or in the neighbouring parish

Day Centre facilities for the elderly of Wilton and district, to provide a comfortable meeting place on Thursday of each week with a hot meal provided plus entertainment and transport from and to home where necessary.
