For the purposes of the advancement of general education in relation to horticulture and related matters generally including horticulture and garden buildings of all natures and in particular the lands and tenements including buildings at or near the mansion house known as Cobham Hall in Cobham ,Kent and the protection of their natural aspect and surroundings.

We have a range of activities available such as rainbows, brownies, St. John Ambulance, Gardening Club, afternoon plus (social group for the young at heart), Boogie Bounce, Keep Fit, Zumba, tap dance, Stay and Play, Coffee Shop and we also hire out our premises for parties or social events.

The aims of the Charity are to encourage, improve and extend the cultivation of clematis and to disseminate knowledge of clematis and clematis culture by means of publications, promotions, exhibitions, scientific research, national co-operation and exchange, meetings, conferences, horticultural shows and other appropriate activities.

We have a meeting once a month where we have guest speakers giving us talks on various garden subjects. We do not hold a meeting in August or December. We have a flower show once a year in August which is for the people of Minehead and surrounding towns - not just for the garden club members. There are various activities during the year, such as visits to gardens.

We aim to raise funds through events such as family bingo nights, BBQ's and summer fairs. The funds raised are used to provde the children of Little Sutton C of E Primary School with additional items that would not normally be provided, such as outdoor classrooms, electronic whiteboards and gardening equipment for the gardening club.

Support and encouragement of horticultural activities

Village Hall. There is a small children's play area attached. The hall has an active indoor bowls club and is used for Quiz nights and other village activities, for example, birthday parties. Also the local gardening club and the Parish Council holds their meetings at the hall.

To encourage the practice and enjoyment of gardening and further the education of gardeners in Lodsworth and some surrounding villages which have no garden club of their own.

Monthly meetings with Speakers on various topics. Additional meetings of interest groups - gardening, scrabble, rummikub, walking, craft, book club. Outings to places of interest, theatre, etc. Fund raising for various local charities and community projects.

A horticultural society & gardening club for the local village and surrounding areas. We aim to increase interest in gardening and assist members to increase their understanding of the potential of their gardens.

To provide an independant social meeting place for all age groups of Pickworth. User group activities/clubs include: IT/Computing, History, Gardening, Bingo, Informal & Formal Presentations/Talks, Keep fit, Yoga, Coffee mornings, Pantomine, Drama, Parties, Craft Fair, Bring & Buy, Private Functions.

ProvideCHASE SCHOOL ANNUAL REPORT ??? 2010The Hall has had a succesful year. W.I. and Gardening Club continue to meet monthly. Whist Drives were held weekly September to April.Succesful Spring and Summer Shows were held. Two Bands practice weekly. Hall was hired out for parties, private functios such as wedding parties, scouts, memorial teas etc.

The building is let to W.I. private parties various meeting as well as holding church services social evenings, talks on gardening, quiz nights amongst other activities.

In line with the WI at national and county level, our monthly meetings for local women feature speakers and activities which entertain, educate and connect. These are supplemented by social outings and smaller groups covering interests such as gardening, crafts, reading, walking and darts. We also run Warm Welcome in Old Catton, on the first and third Tuesday morning of each month.

We provide space for those who need a large , well maintained space for whatever (legal) activities proposed. It can for meetings, play groups, dog training Gardening club talks, Parish Council,weddings ,Harvest activities and all general village activities.

The advancement of horticulture and in particular the cultivation of orchidaceous plants and in furtherance thereof to hold shows, arrange visits to nurseries Botanic Gardens and similar places, and to cultivate and disseminate information upon all matters concerning cultivation of orchidaceous plants.

The charity is responsible for the Wollerton Village Room which is available to all local residents for cultural, sporting and recreational purposes. Use of the Village Room over recent years has been made by the Parish Council, slimming club, dog training club, gardening club as well as for bridge, bingo and various private social events.
