HCGA manages 4 community garden sites in Shepherds Bush, a glasshouse in Ravenscourt Park & Phoenix Farm in White City. We run volunteer programmes for people of all ages and abilities. In addition we work in local schools providing a range of gardening activities. We run environmental play activities, adult education classes & maintenance contracts. HCGA also works in Westminster and RBKC.

The Cart Shed uses the natural environment to offer opportunities to try something new, improve well-being, find friendships and a place of calm. Based in Herefordshire our activities which include coppicing, coppice crafts and horticulture lend themselves to enabling individuals to explore ways to overcome and accept episodes in their lives they find difficult to manage.

Elisha House provides supported living accommodation to 31 males in recovery from substance or alcohol misuse. We work according to the 12 steps recovery programme and five ways to wellbeing. We have a strong community ethos and an extensive timetable. We provide volunteering opportunities in our community gardening project and community cafe. We offer hope that recovery is possible.

The Loughborough Junction Action Group works to improve the environment of Loughborough Junction area of south London and the lives of the people who live there. The group brings the community together through a variety of activities such as festivals, neighbourhood clean-up days, community gardening and food growing and arts events.

We support adults with disabilities in Folkestone and surrounding districts in a day care setting offering a range of activities to enhance wellbeing, independence and social skills. Activities provided for service users in recovery from drug and alcohol misuse or mental health issues include A Drop in Centre, A Listening Service, an Outreach Service, a Night Service, Supported Housing, Training and Education and various activities including Arts and Crafts, Singing, Smart Recovery, Tai Chi, Serenity, Family and Friends Support, Gardening, Creative Writing, Freedom Programme.

Provision of education, training, support to adults with mental health problems and learning disabilities through the provision of workshop based employment together with horticultural activities and leisure activities taking place throughout the North East of England. The charity helps adults to regain mainstream employment and volunteering opportunities and provides support to aid recovery.

Managing a Community Centre and Gardens that provide services and facilities for the local community which includes; alternative education, training, work experience, employability hub, advice and guidance, alcohol support, counselling, horticulture, community development and kids club. We also provide facilities to a wider community to host conferences and training with the provisions of a cafe.

HighGround provides Service Leavers, Reservists and Veterans with advice and practical support about jobs and careers in the land-based sector and a Horticultural Therapy service at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Stanford Hall.

A day centre providing informal social day care for people living with dementia, and their carers, who reside within the boundaries of Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council. We offer a wide range of activities to suit all tastes for people who live with dementia including crafts, quizzes, bingo, games and gardening, as well as providing external entertainers such as singers.

TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF SUFFERERS OF MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS IN NORWICH AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS, INCLUDING BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING, COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY (CBT) AND OTHER HOLISITIC THERAPIES,SUCH AS GARDENING.

We have developed into a multi-award winning group of 200 mainly consisting of young adults, implemented 15 projects, aiming to make a difference in communities through care-home entertainments, clean-ups, youth festivals, gardening, weeding, balsam bashing, farming, painting, graffiti removal, gum removal, blood drives, food donations, cheering and disaster relief.

Room to Heal is a healing community for asylum seekers and refugees who have suffered torture and gross human rights violations. It provides therapeutic support groups,individual counselling/casework, and a range of creative activities, including a Mindfulness for trauma programme, a community gardening/social project, story-telling workshops, ESOL classes and rural community building retreats.

Our charity's activities include providing classes and lectures and social programmes. We have established a children's academic program and an adult education program in Surrey. In addition, we run a number of community activities including free meals to the homeless, a free gardening service for the elderly and running and maintaining a community allotment.
