The purposes of the club are the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Swarkestone and the surrounding area by the provision of facilities for playing cricket.

The church provides oportunities for worship in the Methodist tradition on a weekly basis, supports a number of groups and/or arranges activities for educational and recreational purposes and makes available facilties for community-based organisations, whose activities are focussed on spirituality, health and wholeness.

The Palmer Centre provides a Dementia Friendly Cafe service that is open to all from 8.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, every week, well-being and other recreational activities for older people and a room hire service.

To ensure that the Memorial Hall is maintained in a good condition both externally and internally and to encourage use of the Hall by the local area to promote educational, entertainment, social and other activities.

The charity operates the Village Hall and associated Recreation Field for the benefit of the community in and around the village of Shipton under Wychwood. It leases tennis courts to the Wychwoods Tennis Club and operates two football pitches for local children and young people. There is a gym. The hall is used throughout the day and in the evenings by a wide variety of clubs for young and old.

The provision and maintenance of Broughton Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Broughton without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation.

To promote the benefit and social welfare of the residents of Adeyfield without discrimination.To provide facilities for recreation, leisure, and self improvement activities with the aim of improving life experience for such residents. To establish and operate a Community Centre in furtherance of these objects.To promote other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.

To service the Greek Orthodox Community of Weston Super Mare and the area, providing facilities and holding events along the Greek Orthodox faith.To support and promote cultural, educational, recreation and entertainment for all the community in the area of Weston Super Mare.Assist individuals of all ages, young and old, able and disable regardsles of ethnic background or colour.

Provide sporting activites such as football, senior and junior, cricket, senior and junior, bowls, fishing, golf, dominoes, darts and air rifle shooting for members and the community of Cheslyn Hay and Great Wyrley with users from all over the staffordshire area.
