The Bedwyn Memorial Playing Field & Village Hall Charity owns & manages two plots of land in Great Bedwyn on which are housed all the main sports,recreational facilities & village hall.The village hall is used extensively by affiliated organisations and for private hire. The hire rates are some of the cheapest in Wiltshire.

The charity runs the New Windmill Hall, Upminster which is available for use by the inhabitants of Upminster and surrounding areas for recreation and leisure time activities. These activities include wedding receptions,birthday and anniversary parties,ballet dancing, ballroom dancing and concerts etc. Local associations also use the hall for their regular meetings.

Bethel Lighthouse CIO is a church and community organisation, that through our Christian faith provides facilities for education, recreation and other leisure-time occupation for the benefit of the community in the interest of social welfare. The Community Centre opened in October 2009. It will be a multi purpose building and we are looking to provide a variety of sport, exercise classes, recreational (including dance classes)and educational activities - informal interest groups and more formal adult education classes.

INDEPENDENT ADVICE, SUPPORT AND RESOURCES FOR PLAY AND RECREATION IN THE COMMUNITY

Provides flexible preschool education for ages 2 years to school age, 6 hours, 5 days/week in term time. Offers universal and extended funding places for 3-4 year-olds, funding for 2 year olds and those receiving Early Years Pupil Premium. Runs an out-of-school club for care, recreation and education for children aged 2.5-14 years, after school and in school holidays.

We provide grants and/or services to assist those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, or financial hardship in the Croydon, Tandridge, Reigate and Banstead area. We also assist in the advancement of young people, with a focus on the socially and economically disadvantaged, via provision of recreational and leisure time activities which develop their skills and capabilities.

We arrange a variety of recreational activities for disabled children, young adults up to the age of 25 and their families. These include theatre and cinema trips, craft sessions, soft play/sensory sessions, day trips to farms and zoos, tramolining, fun and float sessions in a swimming pool.
