We are a local charity that has sports facilities & pitches. We have numerous football & rugby teams from 5 years old up to open age. We have crown green bowling facilities with many teams as well as a ladies rounders team. We have full disabled access in our club house & pavilion. The club house is used for recreational sports such as snooker as well as a large concert room for events.

The charity has roots back to 1850, with the current trust created in September 2000 by merging the Athenaeum Trust and the Bleeck Memorial Hall charities. The Trust serves residents of Warminster and the surrounding areas in the provision of Education, Community Support and Entertainment, for both residents and visitors to the town.

Management of large Village Hall and Recreation Field

The aim of the club is to help and educate young people through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to maturity as individuals and members of society and that their coditions of life may be improved.

To maintain the community centre and to provide facilities for recreation, leisure and education, and to promote health, well-being and community cohesion.

Developing Hudson's Fen for Sports and Community useWe have installed a playpark for young children, with disabled access and equipment. Future projects will include more equipment for adults and children.We'd like to go on to build a Community Centre

The charity provides sporting, social and recreational facilities by the provision and maintenance of the sports field and pavilion and the management of the village hall. This is funded by a number of events eg annual carnival, open gardens, and hiring of the village hall

Tools 4 Teens provides a daily learning programme for disadvantaged young people from Hackney. Our activities include life skills workshops, interactive educational courses and recreational activities. We empower these young adults with the qualifications and emotional stability they need, so they can fulfil their potential, contribute to their community and overcome barriers to employment.

To provide and maintain facilities at Skelmanthorpe Community Centre for recreation and leisure time activities for inhabitants of Skelmanthorpe and the surrounding area in the interest of social welfare and to improve their conditions of life. Activities and events which benefit the residents of Halliwell, Crompton and surrounding areas of Bolton, linking residents and the local authorities and other organisations to advance education, provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, recreation and leisure time occupation.

THE WOODFIELD PROJECTS ACTIVITIES ARE TO:(1) RUN THE PAVILION AS A COMMUNITY HUB FOR SCHOOLS AND LOCAL GROUPS; (2) PROVIDE A SAFE GREEN SPACE FOR LEARNING, RECREATION, LEISURE, AND SOCIAL INCLUSION; (3) PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT; AND (4) PROVIDE HORTICULTURAL TRAINING FOR LOCAL PEOPLE TO INCREASE THEIR EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH AND FITNESS OF THE PUBLIC (WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF RACE, GENDER, AGE, DISABILITY, SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR RELIGIOUS OR SIMILAR BELIEF) BY PROMOTING COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION THROUGH PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PLAYING GOLF AT THE GASKELL SPORTS PAVILION OR SUCH OTHER VENUE AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE.

To provide facilities in the interest of the social welfare with the objectives of improving the conditions of life of the general public, particularly those of Bangladeshi and South Asian decent, in Suffolk and others parts of East Anglia. Such facilities shall include childrens' group and other recreational and leisure-time occupation, advice and translation services and education schemes.
