To provide a useful series of activities, and training, for young people (aged 10 to 18) which is loosely based upon a Nautical theme.We encourage young people to develop their personal skills with Adventure Training, Sailing (in single and multi sailed craft, Pulling (Rowing), Power boat Driving, Swimming and kayaking (canoeing).

Provision of a centre for general village activities:- Childrens parties. Meetings of Parish Council.Meetings of Church Council. Play Group activites. and meetings. Organising Village sports day, and Duck Race day : Organising, and Venue for The Annual Village Show etc.

various activities for pre-school children including singing, stories, crafts, puzzles, role play, construction, ride-on toys, climbing, social interaction. Also, summer outings and Christmas parties.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND MENTAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH SAILING

The purpose of the fund shall be to grant financial or medical assistance to registered players, referees and to others who have rendered service to the association or to their families.

To encourage, organise and promote persons under the age of twenty one to play Rugby Football Union or other games or sports so as to ensure that due attention is given to the physical education and development of such individuals.

Education and development of young people through a variety of activities and competitions including public speaking, stock judging, cookery and sports. 10 clubs across the county organise their own weekly meeting. Emphasis on social, fundraising and travel opportunities too.

Monthly meetings with a guest speaker-members participate in sports, music,drama and educational visits

Management and maintenance of a Recreation Ground which includes a Children's Play Area, a Bandstand and a small Pavilion. The Recreation Ground is used for football and cricket, funfairs, circuses and annual events for local and national charities.

The Charity provides outdoor playground facilities for children 2 - 12 years old and maintains a tennis court which is also used as a basketball court.

We primarily operate as a youth club, but our building is also used by a Weight Training group and is often hired by members of the local community for parties, indoor football matches etc...

Providing a secure group of buildings in which young people can attend attend one or more of the following: pre-school group, gymnastics club, karate club, model railway club or dance school. Facilities are fully utilised 7 days a week, with over 400 young people regularly attending from the surrounding area.
