For the Parishioners of Shaugh Prior Parish. Provides a recreation Field with 2 Football Pitches with a pavilion for both men's & youth teams using the facilities and cricket can also be played but at present is not being used. Bowling green with associated pavilion and hard tennis courts which are not currently used. A large hall used by local WI, over 60's group, Dancing Club, Panto & Badminton

Sport/recreation

Gloves centre delivers a daily service giving local people access to quality boxing/ leisure time, opportunities. The centre works to provide recreational and leisure time facilities such as fitness club. The non-contact boxing activities (engagement tool for healthy lifestyle) will be health/educational (College NVQ programmes/residential activities programme etc) related.

Provide and maintain some 45 acres of land within the area known as Pewterspear Green as an open space, parkland, and sports recreation ground in the interests of social welfare and leisure time occupation of the public

Providing a safe environment to teach and coach swimming regardless of age or ability. Swimmers progress at their own pace. As well as teaching a life saving skill we also provide our swim family with a strong message for team work and respect for each other and their coaches. We encourage our swimmers to pass on their knowledge leading to many becoming coaches themselves.

The charity exists for the benefit of the local community.It provides events, sports and activities for people of all ages and walks of life. We offer drop in sessions for disadvantaged and vulnerable people as well as a free monthly legal advice clinic. Over 50 volunteers are involved in our charity. We also work alongside Southampton City Council to help maintain the park's grounds.

We provide the facilities for the whole community. The village hall is available to anybody for hire. Individuals can book the hall for personal use ie weddings, parties etc. Weekly activities include senior citizens meetings, short mat bowls and badminton clubs. The local primary school use the hall for larger functions than the school can cater for, including their Christmas Play.

The charity operates across 5 key areas: School Sport, Aspiration Centre, Vikings Health, Sport 4 All, and Vikings Learning Centre. Our close partnerships include NHS Halton Clinical Commissioning Group, Halton Borough Council, RL Cares and Sky.

To promote the sport of wheelchair rugby in the North West of England. To provide coaching from grass roots level to elite GB level with assistance from wheelchair rugby's governing body, the GBWR. To provide quality rehabilitation opportunities for patients at the "North West Regional Spinal Injuries Unit" based in Southport.

We cover the seven areas of learning within four sessions each week. A parent and toddler group operates alongside. We organise various fundraisers throughout the year as well as social events - such as Fun Days, Baby Sales, Singalongs, Easter, Halloween and Christmas parties for the children. Our Sports Day is held in July.

Nottingham Outlaws is a rugby league club in Nottingham which provides sporting activites for male and females from junior through to open age.

Unity Academy is a registered charity working with Young People, and Children in Bradford and surrounding areas.We offer a wide range of activities from accredited training, educational and personal development classes, activity play schemes, sports and well-being activities, as well as delivering timetabled community development activity in a number of weekly activities groups

We provide cricket kit and cricket related services for the benefit of those who would not otherwise have access to the game. We operate within the UK and in multiple destinations internationally.

The provision of grants for further education, professional or sports training to financially disadvantaged students, mainly living away from home, who, in the opinion of the trustees, would benefit from financial assistance unobtainable from other sources. The trustees have the authority to fund academic departments/chairs, or buildings used by or lived in by the financially disadvantaged

The Stute provides the following indoor facilities from its premises in Station Road, Earl Shilton including Snooker/billiards - 5 tables, Pool - 1 table, Table tennis - 1 table. There are also rooms for hire, some of which are currently occupied with a pre-school group.

The provision of a sports and social centre, at which various activities are carried out. These include Bowls (both indoor and outdoor), Bridge, Table Tennis and Snooker.

Football Club

The Centre is used for community sporting and social events including karate; table tennis; meetings of different content; dancing; parties, etc. The area is classified as rural.

The CIO manages a safe, flexible and welcoming community centre for use by local people, facilitating a wide and affordable range of activities with social and educational benefit. A pre school and youth club, both registered charities themselves, operate within the centre and the centre is hired by local groups and individuals for group activities including exercise, sports, hobbies and parties.

The main object of the charity is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for playing golf. The club maintains and conserves a nine hole golf course in the listed historic park surrounding Gilling Castle. Membership is open to all and members of the local community are encouraged to use the course for a modest green fee.
