The charity's objects are for the benefit of the public generally, particularly the inhabitants of South Wales and its surrounding areas to promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for the playing of association football and other sports capable of improving health (facilities, land, buildings, equipment and organising sporting activities).

The advancement of education of children within the borough of Basingstoke and Deane by way of providing gymnastic facilities and other associated activities.

The Charity's objects are to further and assist in education (on a social and physical basis) of children and adults within Swindon and the surrounding areas, through the use of the game of football. The Community Foundation also support a Football Development programme in Zambia.

Rise North East works with a wide range of local, regional and national partners to make it easier and a more attractive proposition for people to be physically active. Rise is passionate about helping under-represented groups and those who are currently moving for less than 30 minutes per week. Rise is funded and supported by Sport England and other partners, and is one of 43 Active Partnerships.

We are a charity that supports young people who are at risk of exclusion or becoming part of the criminal justice system. We engage with young people through leisure, sports, art, heritage and cultural activities. We use a community asset based approach to support not only the young person and their family but also to build resilience within the wider community at the same time.

Other Recreational Activities

The Trust's principal activity is the operation of two golf courses, trading under the names of Broome Manor Golf Club and Trent Park Golf Club. Surpluses achieved from this business will be used on course and facility improvements and to grow the game through sponsorship of junior golf tuition and training of junior golfers.

The charity is responsible for running the South Bristol Sports Centre, which consists of a gymnasium, playing fields, changing rooms and refreshment facilities near West Town Lane, South Bristol. The charity also supports and encourages sport and healthy living in the Bristol area.

The Change Foundation is a charity that uses sport and dance to unlock wider potential and open the doors of opportunity for marginalised young people, using a team of passionate, dedicated coaches who work to make a real and lasting difference in young peoples lives.

School of Hard Knocks uses sport and other challenging activities to help participants re-engage with school or find employment. All of our courses seek to develop a sense of citizenship and work towards improvement in mental and physical health and wellbeing. Other objectives include: Reduced crime, money management, career planning, increased confidence and increased personal responsibility.

We work with disadvantaged young people offering them the opportunity to fulfill their potential by offering them a range of sporting, educational and cultural programmes

Water based activities include sailing, kayaking, open canoeing and improvised rafting. We also offer a wide range of land based activities specifically: archery tag, assault course, tunneling, climbing wall and archery.

The Golf Foundation has two strategic aims to help grow the sport (1) Golf for all - to provide any young person, regardless of background or ability, with the opportunity to enjoy the playing and personal benefits of golf and, (2) Helping any young person to 'Start, Learn and Stay' in golf, providing a player pathway into golf clubs.

The promotion and provision of physical activity and sport opportunities for the people and communities of Gloucestershire and further afield irrespective of age, gender, ability /disability, socio-economic circumstances, sexual orientation and religious belief with a view to increasing regular participation in physical activity and sport.

SDA provides information, welfare benefits advice, deaf communication, volunteers befriending, personal & group development, access to sports, domiciliary home care, palliative domiciliary care and supports various user activity and learning groups.
