Amateur Sports Club

The charity aims to improve the life of the Kibera children through the provision of quality education, health and mental wellbeing monitoring and sports. Children, aged five to eighteen, join Volunteers Foundation Academy nursery and primary school, then continue their education in partnering secondary schools. Volunteers Foundation adopts a holistic approach through out the programme.

Our primary objective is to raise awareness of melanoma and other forms of skin cancer for all in sport and outdoor recreation. With the support of leading organisations, we educate on the importance of sun protection and early prevention of melanoma via our four national campaigns, targeting, sporty children and adults, golfers and greenkeepers, gardeners, and horticulturalists.

To establish and promote facilities for trampolining and gymnastics for children and young people resident in the UK in order to promote their physical, mental and spiritual well being.

Offering grants and donations for individuals or charitable associations, bodies and organisations for the advancement of education, arts and culture, amateur sports, promotion of good health and relief for sickness in the United Kingdom and in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Malawi, Uganda and Kenya.

The object of the CIO is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the residents of Middlesbrough, Ormesby and the surrounding area by provision of facilities for the playing of table tennis at all levels.

We work together across generations to establish effective solutions on how to engage older people to tackle dementia, depression & loneliness. We recruit, train, manage and support volunteers to facilitate sporting memories activities across communities

Operating community based sports facilities and activities and community development.

Provision of coaching and organised football for boys and girls aged 4-18 and open age players.The development of football for children with Down's Syndrome aged 4 to 16yrs.

The Association is established for the recreation of the blind by the provision of training in golf facilities so as to improve the conditions of life. We also arrange golfing events for our members.

Education and promotion of health and well being through sport and related activities

Provide sporting facilities and coaching to children from the age of 4 through to 16, predominantly soccer.

The Object of the CIO is, for the public benefit, the advancement of the evangelical Christian faith in Rugby, Warwickshire and such other parts of the United Kingdom and the world as the charity trustees may from time to time decide.

The centre's activities include trampolining, climbing, free running and is open in the evenings for the local community to participate and Saturday and Sunday mornings. It is also open at weekends for parties. During the daytime the centre is open for schools. Two of the local high schools use it for their GCSE curriculum. The centre is based off the main high street in the village.

Activities of sport clubs

A community and young people's project for socialising, education and recreational activities. Youth club operates at least three evenings each week during term time. Counselling service for young people. After school homework club, with sporting activities.Evening meals for young people as part of healthy eating plan. Provision of training to young people currently excluded from school.

Local Community Football club

The charity exists to provide a village hall and other facilities for the use of the inhabitants of Shalford and the neighbourhood for meetings, educational purposes and other forms of leisure time occupation, including sports, arts, culture and community development.

Promote participation in the sport of hockey for all ages within the community, providing facilities for playing hockey, opportunities for recreation, coaching, umpiring and competition.

As well as general charitable activities, the trustees support the following causes:to advance education, advancement in environmental protection or improvement, prevent and relieve poverty including assisting homeless and refugees. In addition, the advancement of amateur sport particularly helping young people in sailing.

Bury FC Community Trust delivers a number of football and sporting activities to provide a range of opportunities to improve health and fitness, develop educational opportunities and to engage hard to reach and excluded communities. Our programmes support healthy lifestyles, reduce social isolation, improve academic achievement and employability, and reduce anti social behaviour.
