Grants for young people up to the age of 25 for educational (GCSE,further and higher education)and sporting purposes where the applicant has reached county standard or equivalent. Grants also made to educational and voluntary organisations providing educational or leisure time activities. Applicants must be resident in the Parish of Northiam.

We are a voluntary group who run our local community centre building. The building is available for hire for a range of activities from childrens birthday parties to ballroom dancing. Regular users include: Churwell Action Group, Striker Tots - football, Keep Fit, Pilates, Community Choir and Methodist Church.

Gateway is a local scouting group, serving children in St Ives between the ages of 6 and 14. We aim to help young people enjoy adventurous activities and to give them opportunities for personal development and social responsibility. We are a volunteer funded and managed playing field providing play equipment and activities for all ages and abilities. There is a pavilion onsite. Tennis and cricket clubs run form the site. We have no guaranteed income and all maintenance activities and administration is done by volunteers. We have activities such as sports days, cream teas, BBQ's and apple pressing days.

A Rural Youth movement for young people aged 10-26yrs. Members can gain confidence and recognised Skills in Public Speaking, Sports Competitions, Drama and Entertainments, Stockjudging and Stockshowing/Presentation, Dancing, Duke of Edingburgh, meetings and social events, Fundraising.
