Leisure Charities

We are part of The Scout Association, delivering weekly activities for young people aged 6 to 14 across North London. Our programme includes working towards Scout badges, as well as taking part in additional schemes such as the DofE. Alongside our regular meetings, we organise weekend and week-long camping trips. These experiences help young people build confidence and independence.

The Village Hall is held in trust for the use of the inhabitants of Oxton and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or political or other opinions. It is to be used in particular for the use of meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants

Provision of arts and entertainment

The aim of the charity is to improve the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Odcombe and its surrounding area by providing a suitable venue for meetings, lectures, classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure such as, short mat bowls, exercise classes, football, karate, walkers, sewing, tea dances, luncheons, suppers, bingo and quiz nights.

Providing sports & recreation facilities for the village of Puriton, Somerset.

Provision of unsupervised accommodation for young people who are participating in outdoor activities in the Snowdonia National Park

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts belong to St Josephs Scout Group, which is based in Blundell Road in Luton. They meet once a week doing a variety of activities which are all age appropriate and this includes camping normally once a year.

The provision & maintenance of a village hall, primarily for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Brent Knoll, but also, when applicable to other persons or organisations as the Committee deem appropriate, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes & other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the objective

Acting as an umbrella body in the provision of education and training, sport and adventurous recreational activities for young people.

Provides and upkeeps a venue for members of the community to use for arts, sports, culture, leisure and other community events.

Whalley Village Hall exists for the benefit of the inhabitants of Whalley and neighbourhood by associating with voluntary and other organisations, in a common effort to advance education, social welfare and recreation and with the object of improving the condition of life for said inhabitants.

Provide a meeting place for the inhabitants of the village of Tregarth to hold activities of social, cultural and sporting nature without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

The provision of a village hall with a stage, kitchen and 2 other rooms for the use of the local community and others for social, sporting and educational activities.The second room is on continual hire to 'Pre-school' this arrangement has made the main hall available for further hiring to the village and this has been taken up to the benefit of the village.

Provides recreational and educational activities for residents of the Parish of Rushton and guests.Is licensed for civil ceremonies.

TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR THE EDUCATION AND ENTERTAINMENT OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

Blue Bell Hill Village Hall's current activites include: Daily Pre school, Dance School, Table Tennis, Yoga, Children's Parties, Crafts, Carer's Support Group, Religious Gatherings.

We provide accommodation for young people who are members of the Guide Association to hold camps, trainings and outdoor activities. Our members come from all over SE England.

To facilitate education and social/recreational activities which meet the identified needs of the population of Churchill and Sarsden villages. In addition we include all people interested in our activities who are resident outside our villages.
