Leisure Charities

We are committed to establishing a Mosque & Islamic cultural centre in Isleworth, London, insh'Allah. Activities include the five daily prayers, the weekly jumu'a prayer and annual 'Id celebrations, regular Islamic and Qur'anic classes for children of all ages, youth activities including sports and summer camps, adult projects and education programmes for men and women, and interfaith initiatives.

PROMOTES THE BENEFIT OF COMMUNITY THROUGHOUT EAST LONDON AND ESSEX THROUGH EDUCATION AND TRAINING AND PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR RECREATION SOCIAL AND THERAPUTIC ACTIVITIES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR AGE INFIRMITY DISABLEMENT POVERTY SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES.

To provide facilities for recreation, advance education and relieve poverty. To preserve protect and enhance for the benefit of the public the amenities including the buildings or features of historic or natural interest. To further any charitable purposes with the objects of improving the conditions of life and social welfare for those living or working in the parish of Moretonhampstead.

The promotion of military efficiency by the provision and support of mess, social, sporting and other facilities for the efficiency and well being of Servicemen and Servicewomen. The objects also extend to making grants to any activity which in the opinion of the Trustees is in furtherance of the objectives of the charity.

Throughout the period, the Charity has provided support to numerous social, sporting and recreational events designed to improve the quality of life of all members of ATC Pirbright and their immediate families.

Operation of the Junior Common Room of Hatfield College (Durham Univeristy), Providing social, sporting, cultural, and recreational activites and forums for discussion and debate for the personal development of members of the Common Room.

Farncombe Day Centre offers a happy and caring atmosphere where membership is free and everyone is welcome.The Day Centre is open to everyone over the age of 50 who lives in Waverley Borough. The Day Centre is open Monday to Friday from 10am-4pm. Services include lunches, coffee and tea, social activities and entertainment, minibus pick-up and return, chiropody, hairdressing and assisted bathing.

Hebe provides facilities for young people for their educational, recreational and other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life in London and in such other parts of the UK or the World as the trustees may from time to time think fit and to fulfil such other purposes which are exclusively charitable (formerly RCN 1139610)

Running a leisure centre.

Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses provides educational and training resource in sustainable horticultureand promotes physical and mental well-being through horticultural activities and engagement with the natural world.In addition the charity promotes wildlife and biodiversity and promotes healthy-eating and local food-growing.

The principal activities of the charity is to to advance education in Islamic and non-Islamic studies. It also aims to provide recreational facilities to the young and the elderly in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving the condition of life for such persons. The Charity is based in the London Borough of Newham.

Hindu Temple Geeta Bhawan, provides free lunch to Senior Citizens, Teach Hindi, Malayalam Languages, yoga classes and Indian classical Dances. Provide Hindu Religious services, place of worship, cultural activities, Inter faith dialogue, discourses on Vedas and other scriptures. Conduct Civil Marriages, Marriages according to Vedic Rituals and provide priests for Hindu rituals.

OUR CHARITY PROMOTES WREXHAM FC ACROSS NORTH WALES AND PROVIDES CORE PROGRAMMES IN SCHOOLS AND TO LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS, IT HAS WORKED WITH SHOW RACISM THE RED CARD AND THE PRINCES TRUST OVER THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS AND THE OVERALL AIM FOR THE FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE COMMUNITIES OF NORTH WALES TO ENGAGE WITH WREXHAM FOOTBALL CLUB.

A range of activiites to support local people, including Stay and Play session, kids club, youth sessions, mini movers and holiday scheme for children and young people. Provide a job club, pay as you feel cafe, Talk English class and health and social care course. Work in partnership with Big Swing, CHAS@St Vincents and BMDC Youth Service. A weekly coffee morning and gentle exercise class.

TO RUN AND MAINTAIN, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF FRAMWELLGATE MOOR AND THE ADJACENT LOCALITY, A VIABLE COMMUNITY AND YOUTH CENTRE IN ORDER TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:-A) TO PROVIDE THE NECESSARY FACILITIES FOR THE DAILY CARE, RECREATION AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN DURING OUT OF SCHOOL HOURS AND SCHOOL HOLIDAYS.B) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF THE PERSONS IN THE PROVISION OF SUCH CARE, EDUCATION AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES.

The Sunnybank Trust works in partnership with people with learning disabilities to have a voice, have access to leisure and social activities, be supported to be safe in their community and become more employable. Services include clubs, social activities and advocacy for adults over 18yrs, transition support for young adults and a consultancy led by those with lived experience.

Fundraising for school, purchase and sale of Fairtrade items, numerous day trips and 10 residential trips - Paris, Kingswood, Bewerley Park, Italy, Netball Weekend, Poland, Belfast, Climbing Trip, London, Belgium.

ATOL will provide Supported Living in a domiciliary care setting, allowing service users to access work experience, internships, volunteering & hopefully paid employment whilst enjoying a caring familiar home setting with likeminded people. ATOL will ensure access to social activities and our people will develop skills to help them achieve higher levels of independent living eg catering/gardening.

Support of people with learning disabilities, their carers & family. Help children & adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible within the community. Act as a resource for parents & carers, providing them with information, advocacy & practical support. Provide opportunities for people with learning disability to enjoy their leisure time.

Advice/advocacy drop-in, 1:1 practical/emotional support, English language class, Sewing and dress making class, Keep-fit and Yoga class, Employability and Driving Theory class, Mental health project with different activities, Young girls group, Lunch club, Coffee morning, Gardening project, swimming, massage, Summer trip, AGM, international women's week, world mental health day.
