Leisure Charities

To provide a village hall for use of the inhabitants of Topcliffe and Asenby and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions, and in particular for use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Parish of Frampton and it's immediate vicinity without distiction of political, religious, age colour or other opinions. The hall to be used for leisure, recreational, social and educational functions to improve the life and conditions of the community.

Classes in Architecture, Art, Bird Watching, Current Affairs, Crafts, Drama, Family History, Gardening, Heritage, Line Dancing, Literature, Music Appreciation, Play Reading, Poetry, Science, Singing, Ukulele, Walking, Writing; theatre visits and interest holidays, Philosophy, Conversational Spanish.

Provide amateur theatre entertainment to wider community and perform at charitable events.

Provides a meeting place for the use of the community in the area, both for social & recreational activities as well as educational uses.

The Charity is a Scout Group that provides education, training and recreation for Boys and Girls from all backgrounds and areas.

Educational and Recreational Activities

To educate and train the general public with the keeping of Vintage Vehicles whether they be motor driven or steam, traction engines, and all items of machinery, to include agriculture, horticulture and stationary engines, motor cycles, pedal cycles and all modes of transport.

To provide and maintain a village hall for use of the inhabitants of the parish of Bolton-Le-Sands and surrounding district, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions. Used for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants and hirers of the centre.

Provision of leisure activities for children .

Provision and maintenance of a Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Hurworth and the neighbourhood without the distinction of sex, political, religious, or other opinions, and in particular for use for meetings, lectures, classes, and for other forms of education, recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Improves the conditions of the life of the inhabitants of Shrewton and the surrounding neighbourhood without distinction of political, religious or other opinions by the provision and maintenance of a village hall, sports changing rooms and recreation ground.

Further religion by the provision and maintenance of a church hall to be used for any religious and charitable purpose calculated to promote the spiritual moral intellectual and physical improvement or welfare or the reasonable recreational advantage or benefit of the parishioners and worshippers of the Church of St Mary's at Clymping or other persons.

Children and young people out of school time learn basic skills in art and culture, sport and recreation, environment, conservation and heritage activities. We also welcome people with disabilities to participate.

The village hall (The Browfoot Room) supports the local community by providing facilities for a diverse range of social, educational and sports functions.The hall is currently undergoing a major refurbishment programme to increase its effectiveness in the community even further.

Provision of community facilities and open spaces in the village of Occold.

Our organisation was founded to manage the Playing Field site in Walkington which must be used for the maintenance and improvement of the physical well-being of the persons resident in the Parish of Walkington. The Walkington PFA pursue these aims by the provision of facilities for physical training and recreation, as stated in the constitution.

The provision and maintenance of a public park for the enjoyment of the inhabitants of Cuckfield and Mid Sussex district.

The hall provides facilities for numerous activities including badminton, keep fit, dancing, art classes, performing arts, dog training, cubs. Additionally, villagers may hire the hall for parties, wedding receptions, quizzes etc. The hall committee run a pensioners party, and a flower and produce show.

The village is a thriving community (approx 500 dwellings and 1200 residents). Many residents support the hall and it is key to village life. The hall is used by 16 regular groups including, Indoor Bowls, Karate, Keep Fit, Scouts, History Society, Parent and Toddler group, Dancing etc plus numerous ad hoc functions. There is a successful amateur Dramatic group with an active youth section.

Operates and maintains the Dodleston Village Hall and Recreation Field (also known as Johns' Field)

The Charity maintains the Village Hall which provides a meeting place for a variety of activitiesorganised by local clubs, including Youth Club, Dressmaking,Carpet Bowls, Karate, Mothers and Toddlers, Nip-In, Table Tennis.It is also available for Drama, Dancing, Wedding Receptions, Parties, also Parish Council and Public Meetings.

Support over 50's and disabled group, local brownies, first steps, NHS blood donor sessions, keep fit and dancing classes. Wild life trust, town twinning meetings and surgeries for Amber Valley Borough Council.
