Providing buildings, equipment & land for sporting activities for persons of all ages, and family friendly events and social activities for the local community.

Village Hall for use by residents and local community. Activities range from the very young to the elderly: Bridge Club, WI, Keep Fit, Dementia Care Day Centre with lunches on two days a week, Parish Council Meetings, Table tennis club, Social evenings, Hall and Committee Room available for Hire for Parties, meetings and functions.

A co-operative of older people to share educational, creative and leisure activities.

River Village Hall committee hold, mini market once a month, the income enables us to maintain the hall, to hire out to local societies such as River WI, Gardeners, Karate, Pilates, Kung Fu, Keep Fit, Dancing for Small Children, These activities are supported by all ages of River residents.

Provides, social recreational and educational facilities for all members with varying degrees of learning disabilities, under the umbrella of Royal Mencap but receive no financial help from Mencap entirely self-funded.

a) To promote the restoration and preservation of the canal for the benefit of the local community and the general public at large, and to encourage its use for navigation and the general public in their leisure time.b) To stimulate public interest, education and appreciation of the beauty, history, flora and fauna and structures of the Pocklington Canal and its environs

PROVIDES AND MAINTAINS A COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF STANTON VILLAGE AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD THEREOF WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

To improve the conditions of life of the inhabitants of the area by the provision of a village hall for use by the inhabitants, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation.

THE VICTORIA HALL WAS GIVEN TO THE COMMUNITY AROUND 1907. THE VICTORIA HALL IS A COMMUNITY CENTRE THAT CATERS FOR, YOUTH, COFFEE MORNINGS, TI CHI, BALLROOM DANCING, BINGO MEETINGS, EXCERCISE CLASSES,KARATE, RUMMAGE SALES, BABMINGTON, MAYORS BALLS AND A FUNCTION ROOM FOR WEDDINGS, PARTIES, AND SOCIAL EVENTS. THE HALL IS USED FOR COUNCIL ELECTIONS, SEMINARS BY THE COUNCILS, BOTH LOCAL AND COUNTY.

Firbeck Village Hall is a venue for a wide range of social, educational, arts and entertainment activities, available for private hire and for functions arranged by the Management Committee.

Camping, Weekly Meetings, Training Activities and indeed, any activity which involves Scouting as authorised by the Scout asociation

Scouting indoor/outdoor activities for 6 - 18 year olds.

Our charity provides and maintains a community building for the use of local people and organisations for the purpose of holding meetings or for social, educational and recreational purposes.

Coordinating events to raise money for additional equipment and activities at Recreation Road Infant School, plus other charities as chosen by pupils at the school. Also supporting community events such as coffee mornings and prospective parents evenings at the school.

Provision of Village Hall facilities for the use of the inhabitants of Goodleigh and surrounding parish for cultural, educational. recreational and social activities.

A village hall and playing field dedicated to the general use of the community.

Engaging young people in positive activities, ie: camping

Provides and maintains Parish Community Centre available for society meetings, recreation, parties and social events.

1.Manages and co-ordinates the use of the Guilsborough Playing Field for Senior and Junior Cricket & Football Clubs, Guilsborough Pre-School, Primary and Secondary Schools, Northants Sports. 2.Ensures the Field and facilities are safe and fit-for-purpose, 3.Manages the finances, raises funds needed for maintenance, capital and operating costs.

Operates and maintains the community centre building and grounds enabling playgroup for infants and children, dance classes, sport and recreation clubs for special interest groups and a club for the elderly. Used for childrens parties, local elections.

Plumpton Scout Group have 12 beavers and 22 scouts 10 cubs, however Training takes place over the winter and summer months ie camping skills, survival hikes, swimming, potholing, knots-lashing, DIY skills.

Provision or assisting in provision of facilities for recreation (primarily connected with cricket) in the interest of social welfare and for the benefit of young people resident in Sandwell, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
