Leisure Charities

In May 2019 a group of parents decided to form a new autistic group called Puzzles. Based in Medway and covering Kent, we go out every Friday with our members to places such as bowling, skiing, tobogganing, cinema and much more. We aim to bring families together to share experiences, meet others and spend social time with others who understand them.

PROVIDE YOUTH AND SENIOR FOOTBALL IN THE WATFORD AREA

Managing and maintaining the Community Centre to provide facilities, services and events to the local community.To provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Colden Common.

We offer and provide - advice and help to parents and carers - opportunities to meet other families with get-togethers, drop-ins and play meetings - a variety of social events and activities for all ages, such as parties, music, art and dance workshops and sporting events - regular conferences on all matters concerned with DS - newsletter. We raise the profile of the needs of people with DS.

The Rous Charity provides almshouses for the benefit of pensioners who formerly worked in the horseracing industry.

Adventure plays on selected playground will be provided. The charity provides creative activities such as arts/crafts photography, urban art, upcycling to textiles, painting and community space improvement, under the guidance of professional artists. Sports such as Football, Boxing, MMA, Dance Fitness to Yoga and self-defence designed to keep participants minds and bodies active and healthy.

The charity provides residents of Holbrooks, Coventry and surrounding neighbourhood with the use of various sports facilities and club house in the interests of social welfare for recreation leisure.

THE WOODFIELD PROJECTS ACTIVITIES ARE TO:(1) RUN THE PAVILION AS A COMMUNITY HUB FOR SCHOOLS AND LOCAL GROUPS; (2) PROVIDE A SAFE GREEN SPACE FOR LEARNING, RECREATION, LEISURE, AND SOCIAL INCLUSION; (3) PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT; AND (4) PROVIDE HORTICULTURAL TRAINING FOR LOCAL PEOPLE TO INCREASE THEIR EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH AND FITNESS OF THE PUBLIC (WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF RACE, GENDER, AGE, DISABILITY, SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR RELIGIOUS OR SIMILAR BELIEF) BY PROMOTING COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION THROUGH PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PLAYING GOLF AT THE GASKELL SPORTS PAVILION OR SUCH OTHER VENUE AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE.

- to provide facilities for, and to promote participation in, the amateur sport of football in Horncastle and the surrounding area;- to establish and maintain a permanent amateur club in Horncastle for the teaching, playing and coaching of football;- to provide suitably qualified coaches, coaching courses, insurance, medical treatment and post-match refreshments; and- to affiliate to the FA.

To provide facilities in the interest of the social welfare with the objectives of improving the conditions of life of the general public, particularly those of Bangladeshi and South Asian decent, in Suffolk and others parts of East Anglia. Such facilities shall include childrens' group and other recreational and leisure-time occupation, advice and translation services and education schemes.

The Charity's aims are to benefit families in the Northampton area by the provision of activities and facilities for care,leisure and recreation;to promote social welfare by improving the conditions of life,and to benefit the public at large but especially those who are disadvantaged due to their youth,age,financial hardship or social,health or economic circumstances.

The Parks continues to be well used by the community as the major open space in this area of Seaham. There are many sports groups who use the park as their home ground:-Football - Seaham Red Star Football Club plus 4 junior football teamsSeaham Town Bowls Club - mens and ladiesCricket - numerous teams of a variety of age groupsThere is also a well used play park and bmx/skatepark

WE AIM TO ADVANCE THE WELFARE, PHYSICAL AND MENTAL WELLBEING OF STUDENTS THROUGH REPRESENTATION,INFORMATION, ADVICE AND GUIDANCE TO STUDENTS AT GSM LONDON. THIS IS PROVIDED AT THE GREENWICH AND GREENFORD CAMPUSES.

Provision of recreational activities for inhabitants of Saltash and surrounding neighbourhood

Siddha Yoga Sangham of Europe (SYSEU) has been formed as a religious charitable trust, with an object to advance the principles of Swami Muktananda and Swami Chidvilasananda. The charity supports and assists with the dissemination of teachings and information relating to the Siddha Yoga tradition throughout Europe.

funky kids provides social and recreational activities to families effected by hearing loss preventing social isolation, improving health and well being and improving mental health. we hold large monthly themed events, we hold weekly support groups , coffee mornings and a parent and toddler group, we provide a monthly youth service and signing classes.

To encourage the playing of all games within the scope of the club through the provision of practice and playing facilities, coaching and fixtures for all members

Our primary purpose is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation and the advancement of physical education by the provision of facilities for Rowing and other sport for the benefit of the Inhabitants of West London and surrounding areas. We seek to broaden access to rowing and promote the development of rowing.

Run a Community Centre to provide facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Thringstone and the surrounding area without distinction of sex, age, disability, nationality, political or religious beliefs who have need of such facilities, or for the public at large, in the interests of the social welfare of the said inhabitants.
