Provision of premises for the use of inhabitants of the local area for recreation

The charity provides a venue for social and other functions including Pilates, Parish Council & other meetings, dog training, afternoon teas ,Young Farmers ,W.I. It also hosts the annual Daffodil weekend and Spring Fayre. It is also the venue for 2 flower shows .It is very well used but did suffer during Covid but has returned to normal now.

Running village hall for the benefit of local people to include the elderly, children and groups. Current main users include coffee morning, indoor bowls, Parish Council meetings, Neighbourhood action team meetings, keep fit classes, football teams.

The main object of EWMI is to provide an amenity for the residents of Esholt to pursue leisure and community activities. These include; indoor and outdoor bowling,Council forums,barbecues and Christmas parties, supporting the village entry in "Yorkshire in Bloom".

Various fund-raising activities are carried out under the auspices of the Rotary Club (e.g. golf event, sporting dinner). Donations are received from individuals and organisations.

Administration of Recreation Ground and landowner of Land at Lower Quinta Park let to a local farmer

The provision, maintenance or improvement of a public park.

Gives donations to people of all ages for Educational and recreational activities

To provide a meeting place for village & local activities, either by organised groups or individuals.

Our village hall is used for a number of things for young & old: keep fit, pilates, quiz evenings, art classes, social dances,meetings and all fund raising events.

Provide a service to the local community of Harpley and surrounding villages, Preschool activities in association with the Harpley C E primary school , Keep fit activities, Parish Council meetings as well as the hire of the hall for private functions.

Raising money to provide the children of Childer Thornton Primary School with additional resources which fall outside of the school budget. These resources may be educational or recreational, they may also be to enhance the learning environment within the school. The Association also raises money for charities connected to the children and the school community

For forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the residents of Wroot.

MAINTAIN AND RUN HALL PROVIDING RECREATIONAL FACILITES FOR THE PARISH OF MENHENIOT

Wellington Community Centre was built as a club in 1908 and given to the people of Wellington "to be used to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Wellington"

Provision of recreational facilities

Arbour Vale School is a special needs school providing for 330 students with special educational needs. The Association provides an enhanced educational / recreational experience for the students and local community by fundraising, providing advocates, advice and activities for special needs youngsters and their families from the surrounding community.

We meet each Friday. Members are brought by community bus to the Medway Centre. They have coffee, then socialise by chatting, playing cards, dominoes etc. A hot lunch is provided. There is various entertainment during the afternoon. Two or three times a year we organise days out.

Public entertainment by means of high quality, classical, choral concerts.
