The University of Northampton Students' Union exists to support students at the University as they progress through their studies. We do this by: -- providing guidance and support for educational needs;- delivering welfare awareness campaigns;- providing personal and team development opportunities, through sports clubs and other societies; and- providing social space and activities.

Educational and outdoor activities and support for young people who are not fully accessing main stream education

Bilton House aims to provide an excellent standard of residential and dementia care within a caring Christian ethos, for elderly and frail people who can no longer fully care for themselves.

1. TO ADVANCE RELIGION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHINGS OF ISLAM; 2. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR AMONGST WOMEN AND YOUNG PEOPLE FROM ALL RELIGIOUS AND ETHNIC BACKGROUNDS; 3. TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR RECREATIONAL OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION FOR THE INHABITANTS OF KEIGHLEY AND SURROUNDING AREAS; 4. TO PROVIDE RELIEF AND CHARITY AID TO THOSE IN NEED.

The Boathouse Youth is a Children's Charity based in Blackpool that provides positive recreational and educational activities for children and young people Aged 5 - 17. Our activities are categorised into three departments: Centre Based (within our Youth Centre); Detached & Outreach (on the streets and in the local schools) and Activities & Residential.

The principal activity of the charity is to provide infants, children and students, education and instruction in academic, sporting, musical, cultural, scientific, technical, religious, vocational social and commercial subjects, activities and crafts of every description.

The objects of St Albans School Woollam Trust are to provide and maintain playing fields and other recreational facilities for the pupils of St Albans School.In addition the trust aims to provide playing fields in sufficient number and of the highest standard to encourage participation in sporting events at all levels. This extends to a wide range of local and regional sports teams and clubs.

To increase participation in sport and physical activity across York and North Yorkshire and to use Sport as a a driver for change to Create better futures and improve health through sport.

The principal objective of the charity is to provide disablement benefits for the members (various classes of employees of racehorse trainers as stated in the Scheme Rules) who have suffered financial hardship following accidental injury, disablement or death arising from, and in the course of, employment and to provide a capital lump sum in the event of serious injury or death.

Aim - To provide high quality, life changing opportunities through sport and physical activity, improving peoples health, education, confidence and skills, increasing positive behaviours and bringing enjoyment to the people we work with. To use the power of professional football and sport to engage with the local community.

DSU aims are to advance the education of the students of DMU for the public benefit by:Providing representation, advice and assistance Providing sporting, social, cultural and recreational opportunities and facilities Promoting and encouraging contact and co-operation between students;Advancing the welfare and physical and mental wellbeing of students;

Provides free cricket coaching and match play for state-educated children aged 11-15 across the UK, opportunities through cricket to people living in the London Borough of Westminster, and opportunities through cricket to communities overseas.

Providing year round sports training and competition opportunities to children and adults with intellectual (learning disabilities). Currently the charity serves 8000 athletes annually supported by over 2800 volunteers.

HEROS aims to take in ex - racehorses and retrain and find new homes for them where they can flourish in new disciplines. HEROS also aims to raise the profile of the thoroughbred in general. HEROS provides education, training & work related opportunities for people wanting to work in either the racing or equine industries,including courses for special educational needs children and young people.

The purpose of the charity is the preservation in perpetuity by the City of London Corporation of the open spaces know as Highgate Wood, Highgate and Queens Park Kilburn for the use by the public for exercise and recreation.

The Charity's current activities are the provision of sports programmes to Palestinian boys and girls. These activities include after-school programmes including coaching in basketball and football and provision of sports kits and materials.

To help and educate children and young people resident in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, and surrounding areas, through their leisure time activities by promoting their full physical and spiritual potential in order that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society, and that their conditions in life may improve.

We operate a range of services supporting older within the Borough including Day care facilities, Independent Living Service, Foot care, Bathing, Befriending, Exercise and Socialise sessions, Wheel chair hire, Information and Advice Service, Handyman and Gardening service. For people with dementia we run a dementia day care service , Cognitive Stimulation clubs and a dementia cafe.

Chrysalis' vision is to enrich and support the lives of individuals with disabilities.Person-centred support provided, flexibly meeting individual needs.Community Activities include: Independent living, The arts,Horticulture, Swimming,Employment support,Holidays, Outdoor activities.Our Wholefood shop provides skills for employment and engagement. 24hr supported living opportunities.

Zest is a development trust in Sheffield with a focus on Netherthorpe, Upperthorpe and Langsett. Zest manages the Zest Healthy Living Centre, comprising a pool, gym, cafe, library and offices and runs a children's weight management service, GP exercise referral and cardiac rehabilitation. Zest has services to assist people into work & training and a children's sports programme.
