The Charity provides day education in its Preparatory School for girls between the ages of 3 1/2 and 11 years, and boarding or day education in its senior school for girls between the ages of 11 and 18 years. The School aims to educate girls to achieve their individual potential, both academically and in other spheres, including art, drama, music and sport; and to inspire a passion for learning.

Social activities for the benefit of all Villagers

Each year our income is distributed in the following way: 2/8th to Watlington Parochial Church Council, 3/8th to Watlington Educational Foundation; 3/8th to Watlington Recreation Grounds Charity.

The charity was established to encourage the playing of rugby football (or such other games to promote physical education and development) amongst young people aged under 21 years in the East Midlands Rugby Football Union area.

North Staffs Basics is a voluntary organisation which provides skilled medical care or help at the site of an accident or other medical emergency, or in transit to hospital, in and around North Staffordshire area.

PROVISION OF SPORTING FACILITIES FOR THE BIDBOROUGH COMMUNITY

Miscellaneous sums to support the provision of parks and open spaces.

Village Hall providing venue for village activities, fund-raising events for church, village hall, badminton, pilates, meetings, exhibitions, art classes etc.

Provides recreational facilities for the public.

Recreation ground

Hold monthly meetings with a speaker. Hold monthly groups for handicrafts and a weekly group for crown green bowls and golf. Several outings for members and friends are organized annually.

PROVIDES RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR THE VILLAGE OF SAXLINGHAM NETHERGATE

Keep Fit classes, Yoga classes, Public Meetings, Parties, Receptions, Church activities, Suppers, etc.

Activities include many outdoor pursuits such as rock climbing, abseiling, kyaking, caving, archery. Annual residentials both indoors and camping.Challenges to encourage teamwork and an understanding of healthy lifestyles, global awareness, skills and relationships and cultural diversity.

TO SERVE AND PROVIDE THE SERVICES TO THE CHINESE COMMUNITY IN BIRMINGHAM &THE WEST MIDLANDS BY RELIEVING POVERTY, ENCOURAGING EDUCATION, RECREATION AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES AND PROVIDING ADVOCACY, ADVICE AND TRANSLATION SERVICES AND ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE. SERVICES INCLUDING, INFORMATION AND ADVICE, TRAINING, HEALTH ADVOCACNY, INTERPRETING AND TRANSLATING, BUSINESS ADVICES

MAINTENANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES INCLUDING AN ALL-WEATHER MULTI PLAY AREA, GRASS FOOTBALL PITCH AND CHILDRENS PLAY AREA

Provides and maintains sport & recreational services for all sectors of the local community.

Management of Community owned assets (Village Hall, village playground, and associated village green). Fund raising for development and on going management of assets.Organize events for the benefit of the community.

To promote the benefits of the inhabitants of Dan y Coed and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex,religion, or other opinions by associating with local authorities,voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to promote facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupations.

Provision of swimming and water activities for the disabled

The charity is a recreation ground provided for informal recreation and some organised sports.

Each month we have talks on subjects of interest often with demonstrations. Several times a years the committee organise trips for the members to go on. We try to support the comunity by attending local fetes and by helping the local school after hours clubs by teaching the children crafts. Many sporting events take place, arranged by the local WI Federation
