Leisure Charities

Non for profit organisation that provides physical activities for all ages throughout the year. Active member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester, as well as being a Manchester FA Community Club providing children aged 4 upwards coaching, football and training facilities.

Main activities are running of clubs fortnightly on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the benefit of the members including general sorts and leisure, as well as ad hoc trips.

The Charity provides activities and services to people on the Weeke estate and in the surrounding neighbourhoods. Its aims are to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation.The Charity provides activities, both directly and indirectly, which contribute towards enhancing the lives of local residents

To provide facilities for the inhabitants of Bournemouth and the neighbourhood in the interests of social welfare bowls for recreation and leisure time occupation,for the purpose of relaxation and with the object of improving the conditions of life for said inhabitants.

To provide entertainment for the local community.To raise funds to assist other charities.To educate members, especially the youth section, in all aspects of stage craft.

The purpose of the charity is to provide and assist in the provision of facilities for the education, recreation and other leisure-time occupation of the inhabitants of Colchester and the surrounding areas, in particular but not exclusively members of the Chinese community.

We are a Community Junior Football Club and offer football related activities for all.

We enable people in Kew, in the London Borough of Richmond, to remain independent for as long as possible. We work closely with individuals and organisations to support people who have difficulty getting out and about, or who would appreciate a little regular company, by providing access to reliable, neighbourly help. Our volunteers offer driving, companionship, shopping, and light gardening.

We offer lifelong learning skills to adults with disabilities including registered blind and partially sighted. These skills are aimed at increasing independence whilst encouraging social interaction and self-confidence in a friendly and informal environment. We offer courses in Computing, Cookery, Literacy, Arts & Crafts, Drama, Music Therapy and seated Yoga.

Founded in 1974, Wortley FC, Leeds, is a not for profit organisition, community and family based football club, which is dedicated to the furtherance of youth and open age football. We provide football opportunities for children (boys and girls) in the community of West Leeds from ages 4 to 17 and beyond into open age football.

The principal activity of the organisation is to provide advancement of Christian faith worldwide through :General Charitable Purposes: Education/Training, Religious activities, Sport/recreationChildren/Young people, Elderly/Old People, People with disabilities and General public/Mankind

Training to the standards required by the Marine Society and Sea cadets. This includes boatwork, seamanship, map reading and navigation skills and all crafts and sports relevant to naval cadets. On-water boat training, shore based camps and training voyages on offshore vessels. Much of the training gives National Governing Body qualifications as well as B Tech courses. Cadets are aged 10 to 18

Manchester Malayalee Association aims; to encourage and provide facilities to help social, cultural and sports activities among the Malayalee (Kerala) community members in Manchester, to contribute to multiculturalism at local, national and international levels, to support activities for the welfare of children, to promote, plan and execute programs for the development of the community.

The objectives of the charity are the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Sleaford by the provision of facilities for playing football.

The village hall is used for various activities including use by the school for PE purposes and as an after school recreational school club. Other activities are as follows; short mat bowls club, arts and crafts club, badminton club, as well as the flower show, history society and the MerryMakers ( a group of villagers putting on events for the village). We also have film nights.

The prevention/relief in need hardship or distress in any parishes of Bredwardine/Staunton on Wye/Letton/north Herefordshire primarily but not exclusively by i)providing 12 Jarvis Eleemosynary Charity owned almshouses, managing them to be let for a maintenance fee, to persons in need. ii)one off grants/items and services to individuals in neediii)Grants for charitable recreational purposes

Provide help and support, promote social inclusion, independence and a better quality of home life to the elderly and those of poor mental health, limited finances, failing health or reduced mobility living in South Brent & district.Help is provided by carefully selected, trained & fully supported volunteers & includes: befriending, transport, carer support, gardening, shopping & signposting.

The objects of the organisation are to provide a village hall for use of the inhabitants of the parish of Wales in the county of South Yorkshire without distinction of political, religious, or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures, classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of said inhabitants.

Advancement of academic and professional opportunities within the field of Martial Arts.Working towards further education in the field of martial arts in the UK. Rehabilitation of stoke survivors using martial arts techniques in conjuction with the ARNI trust. Providing educational resources in the field of Ki somatics.
