Leisure Charities

Activities of the Club include: - the promotion of participation in healthy recreation by providing (a) facilities for athletics including running, track & field and related sports, and (b) coaching, competition and other services to support these activities- to provide & assist in provision of facilities for sport- for the public benefit generally but focused on Worksop & surrounding areas

The provision of gymnastics coaching and facilities to young people in the Thames Valley/South Oxfordshire area.

Scouting Activities - life skills programme along with canoeing, camping, walking, mountaineering, overseas adventures

The charity provides community involvement in healthy recreation - dinghy sailing, advances the physical education of all by providing equipment and facilities and educating the public about the sustainable recreational use of the Mere. The charity aims to provide these facilities at a low cost and tto some groups free of charge.

Using football as a means of social integration to combat the effects of homelessness

Through (a) advocacy, information and advice; (b) Recreational facilities and events involving the local community; (c) Education and training in English language and support with literacy and numeracy: We will promote social inclusion for the public benefit among migrants who are socially excluded on grounds of their ethnic origin, religion, believe or creed or their socio-economic position

Provide advancement of amateur sport by promoting the game of football for the benefit of the residents of Whitchurch Bristol and surrounding districts and to provide facilities for, and to promote community participation in, the amateur sport of association football in Whitchurch Bristol and surrounding districts.

The club offers youth group activities to seniors (12-18) and juniors (8-11 Years), these activities are educational and recreational. A group of volunteers and paid staff run these groups.WA12Radio station now belongs to Newton Boys and Girls Club. A community radio used by the local community for the community. We broadcast online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Funds raised to subsidise activities and educational visits for children whose parents have financial difficulty. Also to provide equipment for clubs, enrichment and sporting activities.

We are the Community Centre for Old Harlow. We offer a varied programme of arts and recreational activities, and events for all ages. The Centre is available for private hire. Public consultation meetings and ward council surgeries are held here regularly.

The objects of the CIO are the provision and maintenance of a village hall, playing field and facilities ancillary thereto for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Ixworth without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation

Currently we are working on retaining community services for health and wellbeing and community engagement to access borough-wide services in the local area. We provide access to a range of activities including martial arts class, Sunday church group, choir practice session, a foodbank servjce, healthy eating and dietary group, badminton sport club, over 55's social club and digital discovery I.T

The Gratton Trust maintains the recreation area and open space known as 'The Gratton' in the village of Sutton Scotney for public use of surrounding parish. This includes a play area, tennis court, football pitches, pavilion and general grassed areas. The income for the upkeep is generated by fundraising, private donations and grants.

The Ansty Village Centre Trust was established in 2015 to promote community recreation and participation in sport in Ansty and the surrounding area. The Trust is a partnership between the users of the existing Ansty village hall, the village social club and the recreation ground.

Purpose/Objective. To provide a benefit to the community by providing an amenity for the purpose of physical and mental recreation and social, moral and intellectual development.

QUAKING HOUSES VILLAGE HALL ASSOCIATION RUN A VOLUNTEER LED COMMUNITY BUILDING. OFFERING VARIOUS ACTIVITIES INCLUDING GROUPS AND SESSIONS TO MEET LOCALLY IDENTIFIED NEEDS INCLUDING ARTS, EDUCATION, SUPPORT, SPORT, TODDLERS GROUPS AS WELL AS FUN DAYS AND CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTIES,

For the Arts and Education for children/adults,lifelong learning to developing people's capacities,encourage positive involvement in society;mental/improvement of children/adults enhance life skills; provision of facilities for recreation/leisure-time activity for social welfare for the public who have special needs by youth, age, disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances.

The Charity runs a local village hall for the use of residents. Activities include sports activities , children clubs, bazaars and village events. The Charity rents out on a lease basis parts of the building to secure regular incomes. The hall may also be hired for private functions and meetings.

Our charity provides the human resources to give education and training , sport and recreation to children and young people.

We are a church in Whitley, South Reading. We also run a community project with a number of groups and activities, including providing a venue for other local churches to meet, development courses, emergency food parcels. We also host a gardening project.

Assist and support visually impaired in Selby District by supplying information, specialised equipment, advice, home visits, and social events. Social events include Bowls, Crafts, Knitting, Coffee mornings and fundraising events. We have open 4 days a week a Resource Centre to view specialised equipment and for demonstration. Some equipment available on loan.

Teaching gymnastics to young people in the Rhyl and Prestatyn area.The young people take part in various competitions through the Welsh gymnastics association.
