Leisure Charities

Promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for playing rugby football and other sports.Provide facilities for sport, recreation or other leisure time occupation of such persons who have need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances and with the object of improving their conditions of life.

The object of the charity is the provision and maintenance of a village hall and / or recreation ground for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants

The centre exist to secure the needs of its local community by the promise of activities including music sport and leisure on the multi use games area installed with funding from Sport England. We also assist with young people projects attempting to get into radio broadcasting. social issues associated with crime in the areas.

The Charity's objects are to provide or assist in the provision of recreational facilities in or around Huntingdon for young people with the object of improving their condition of life and in particular to provide for such persons facilities for footballing, coaching, managing and other such similar activities.

Promoting Rugby as a sport in Rwanda, offering training and equipment to the people of Rwanda

Sportability provides sport and challenging pursuits for people with all forms of paralysis - spinal cord injury, stroke, M.S etc. Activities include micro-light flying, gliding, sailing, canoeing, quad-biking, archery, clay pigeon shooting, BloKart sailing, wheelchair tennis, falconry and more. Their credo is taking the 'dis' out of disability and to focus on ability.

The 1st Britwell Scout Group provides a range of activities in line with the Scout Association's training programme. Our membership is boys and girls between the ages of 6 to 14 years.These activities are varied, some examples are: camping, hiking, water and team building.

WVHT provides building for various charity/organisations to use for leisure - pleasure - sport - recreation and provide amenities for hire etc. We operate through a management/executive committee.

Gymnastic classes for children age 3 and over including classes for children with disabilities

To provide the necessary facilities for the daily care, recreation and education of children out of School hours through the medium of both Welsh and English and to advance the education and training of the persons in the provision of such care, education and recreational facilities.

We benefit those who live and work in Gillingham and the surrounds, primarily but not exclusively by relief of poverty, education, training, the arts, the promotion of public health facilities and childcare, the protection and enhancement of the built and natural environment, provision of facilities in interest of social welfare, recreation leisure, and other charitable purposes for public benefit

The Charity of Boughton Monchelsea Village Hall & Recreation Ground is run by a Committee which meets bi-monthly at the Village Hall premises. It is the aim of the Charity to further the maintenance and repair of the village hall and its recreation ground to the benefit of the community Boughton Monchelsea.

The Charity organises events 1) to raise funds to give to educational, sporting, youth, medical, etc causes at the Trustees discretion and 2) to provide an opportuity for other local charties and commuity groups to run fund-rasiing actvities at those events. The charity operates in the Village of Frampton on Severn and the neighboring area.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of ShereParish and the surrounding neighbourhood by the provision and maintenance of swimming facilities.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Huby, Newby, Castley, North Rigton, Stainburn and Weeton including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The Charities activity has been to promote the community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of the facilities for the playing of football.For 2012/13 we had 15 teams from the age of Under 8 to Under 18. This allowed for over 200 young people to enjoy football in a safe and organised environment.We were able to win our first ever trophy the NEYDL Knockout Cup.

Supports opportunities for young people involved in wheeled sports in the Highlands of Scotland. Also supports a range of other activities.

(a) Promoting the provision of recreational and leisure-time activities provided in the interests of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life;(b) Co-ordinating support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.

Promotes health and activity by providing open space for walking and outdoor activities and by providing sports facilities and playgrounds. Creates community involvement by working together with the Friends of Richmond Park Group and the Sheffield Green Spaces Forum. Promotes fun and enjoyment by providing facilities for play and recreation and holding public events.
