Leisure Charities

The management and maintenance of our Village Hall for the purpose of facilitating the provision of leisure-time, recreational educational and charitable activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants and charitable groups in the village of Weeton and its neighbourhood.

The charity is a village hall which provides room and space for general recreational facilities for all the people of the parishes of Blymhill and Weston-Under-Lizard and surrounding areas.

To manage all aspects of Kings Somborne Village Hall including the development of community access and use and to promote the use of the hall and its sports pavilion facilities.

The charity provides sports, recreation, education and training and cultural activities for all age groups.

Creative Culture Trust promotes access to culture, creative workspace, engagement and participation in arts through educational and recreational activities which develop the skills and confidence of individuals providing a platform for them to grow artistically.

Cholsey Pavilion Trust runs the Cholsey Pavilion which provides leisure and recreation facilities for the village and its surrounding areas. Alongside a broad range of activities run by hirers, it houses a community library, a facility for parents with young children, a youth club and a mental health support facility, and offers a community teashop every Saturday run by a rota of local groups.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for theinhabitants of Stoke on Trent and the surrounding area in particular by theprovision of facilities for training and coaching in the sport of amateurboxing.

We promote the V H for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Bradfield without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, race or political, religious or other opinions. The Trust manages the Memorial Hall (Village Hall) and Community Field (used for sport/recreation) situated in the village of Polesworth

Junior football club

The aim of the charity is to promote the Christian ethos for the residents of Seneley Green and surrounding areas through church services, prayer and cakes, community cafe toddler groups, knit 7 Knatter, craft groups, reading group, coffee mornings, youth fellowship, messy church. art classes , low aerobics, supporting yearly Mac Millan and operation Christmas child.

PROVISION OF GRANTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY ONE YEARS WHO RESIDE WITHIN A RADIUS OF FIFTY MILES OF PRESTON CITY CENTRE.GRANTS ARE PROVIDED FOR SPECIALIST MEDICAL ATTENTION AND EQUIPMENT, TO RELIEVE HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS, TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL TRAINING AND TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES.

The objects of the charity are to protect and promote the physical health and mental wellbeing of the inhabitants of Sheffield and surrounding districts without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, disability, age, race, nationality, or of political, religious or other opinions, through the provision of: (a) recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare.

Exeter Scrapstore helps reduce waste sent to landfill by providing a variety of materials from businesses and industries that have chosen to recycle their off-cuts and line ends. These materials can then be used in a variety of settings, by our members, including education, play, art and creative activities, and sports.We also run activities such as workshops and birthday parties.

The provision of community facilities for recreation, education, and leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare and improving the conditions of life of the members of the Saurashtra Leuva Patel community and others. A virtual black tie memorial dinner in February, the R4H Rugby tournament and gin day and Conrad's Ride, a motorcycle event attended by 200 people. Trustee Tony Lewis gave several talks, aimed at inspiring adventurous people to undertake sponsored events to raising money for The 353 Trust.

Working with and training young people between ages of 9 years and 18 years in areas such as canoeing, power boating, pulling, cooking, communications, shooting, drill and giving them the opportunity to go to sea in both powered vessels and sailing ships.

To promote physical and mental health, fitness of the local community and surrounding area.

The Scheme for the administration of the Fund provides that the income be applied for charitable purposes-educational,recreational and social,at the discretion of the Council.

WE RAISE AND DISTRIBUTE MONEY FOR NEEDY AND WORTHY COMMUNITY, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CAUSES. OUR PRIMARY FUND RAISING ACTIVIES ARE VIA: ANNUAL ART EXHIBITION, SPONSORED DRAGON BOAT RACING, PANGBOURNE VILLAGE FETE, CHRISTMAS FLOAT, WOODCOTE 10K RUN AND OTHER SIMILAR EVENTS

The activites of the Blackpool Ice Drome Charities Association is to organise annual fund raising events, our main event being the production of our annual Childrens Christmas Ice Show. All monies raised go to supporting local children's charities and associations,other worthwhile causes and to promote and develop ice skating in the community.

Malmesbury Carnival Committee organises a programme of music, sports cultural and children's events, mostly during August and ending in a traditional carnival procession, to raise funds for local good causes in the Malmesbury area.
